They cheated. They got caught. They deserve all penalties coming their way. I’m tired of the NCAA looking the other way for blue bloods. They also broke recruiting rules. But I suppose we shouldn’t care about that.

Your argument holds no water. MLB doesn't have a rule against stealing signs...and even if they did that isn't the problem. No one is saying Michigan can't steal signs IN GAME. (which is how MLB does it...and btw i believe Houston and Boston got in trouble for rampant stealing with technology anyways) The NCAA has made it a rule you can't advance scout the way they did. Period. The rule has been in place since I was a teenager. You want to watch game film and figure it out you can. But you are not allowed to do what they did because the NCAA deemed it a competitive disadvantage since a lot of schools can't afford to do it. This is not friggin rocket science.

Iowa's defense and special teams have won more games than the offense has this season and probably last two seasons. Iowa has won nine games and have lost their QB1, TE1 and TE2, and their best player overall...I'll take it.
They get to play in Indy and probably get their arse handed to them...don't care, they get to play in Indy and it will be harder to get there in the future so I'll enjoy it.

I only ask because if that is the case it means the title game is essentially useless. Iowa would claim a Big Ten Title but (likely) no CFP birth with 2 losses since tOSU and Michigan would each have 1. Michigan is pretty much a lock so outside of pride and to spit in the face of the Big Ten they have no reason to care either. This similar scenario happened to the SEC a few years back iirc.

I do not care what the outcome of the game on Saturday is, the outcome of the season with Iowa at 10-2 is all that matters to me now. They are in the B1G Championship is great and now Iowa will get a above average bowl game which is nice. It will be interesting to watch what happens in the couple post season awards that some Iowa players and coaches are up for. Phil Parker should get the assistant coach of the year though. The rest...meh.
