Is he coming in this season?
I'm 50% factual and 50% sarcastic. When you get to know me, you will know which is which.
The Stampede confirm that Hendrickson will play in SF this year.

Grimes will wear #6 and Hendrickson #15 for the Stampede this year.

Eiserman is keeping his number 34 at the NTDP this year. Is he the first player to not switch numbers their U18 year?
I was wondering the same. He’s the first that I’m aware of but I also don’t pay super close attention. They also had their height/weights measured. Phillips listed at 6’5” 213. Got like an inch an 30 pounds on Rinzel already at 16.
I sure hope he has game behind that huge frame. The last two tall tree Bendilde/NTDP defensemen were kind of the whipping boys for the end of the Lucia regime. (joking I know Phillips can play)
Beckett Hendrickson is one of 16 USHL players to keep an eye on during the 2023-24 season.
USHL preseason starts tonight. Hendrickson and Grimes for Sioux Falls and Townsend and Nevers for Waterloo.
I am assuming before and after for Townsend and Nevers?

I hope so. We haven’t had a Mr. Hockey in a while.
Bartoskziewicz remains committed according to the Phantoms

The NTDP U17 team is in town this coming weekend as part of the NAHL Showcase at the Super Rink in Blaine. They play the El Paso Rhinos on Friday at 8:15 p.m. and the New Mexico Ice Wolves on Saturday at 6:00 p.m. Both games are on rink #4.
My God. They charge $30 for an adult day pass? For NAHL? I feel bad for the parents who just want to watch their kids play.

I agree with you. It’s been that way since the event started. I’m going at least once, but only because of the…..
……senior rate.
Eiserman with a measly two assists. Wonder if he falls out of the draft after tonight.
Hendrickson looking to hit the showers early with 15 PIM's and a fighting misconduct.

Send him back for another year of juniors he’s plateaued
Nevers and Townsend both notch a goal for Waterloo today.
Eiserman goes top shelf on Bartoskziewicz for a goal lol
Now Ziemer puts one past Bartoskziewicz. Some friendly fire there. Eiserman picks up an assist because of course he does.
@maroon_and_gold USHL site says Brady Ziemer for some reason. Going to assume data issue.
With the USHL for real starting today, here’s where it looks like Gophers commits will start the year:
Hendrickson - Sioux Falls USHL
Grimes - Sioux Falls USHL
Bartoskiewicz - Youngstown USHL
Townsend - before and after with Waterloo in the USHL, Eden Prairie’s captain during the year.
Nevers - Waterloo USHL unclear if he’s doing a before and after too.
Yakesh - Cranbrook BCHL
Ziemer, Whipple, Eiserman - NTDP U18
Phillips - NTDP U17
Moore - Looks like he’s just doing high school this year which is weird cause he finished last season in the USHL. He’s playing Elite League currently.
Has it been confirmed Javon Moore is playing high school? Seems odd to me.

Not sure but he's currently not listed on any USHL roster that I could find and wasn't he playing for SF?
He’s playing Elite League which should mean he’s playing HS. I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone play Elite League and then jump to juniors instead of HS.
My guess is that Bob likely told him 2025 when he was recruited so why skip your senior year if you are doing a year of juniors after you graduate anyways. Tonka should be very good again and will likely be a favorite for another State title.
We haven’t had a Mr. Hockey in a while. Townsend, Moore and possibly Nevers is a good crop to win one.
This video was broadcast live from the year 2006. Anyways Hendrickson gets his first USHL goal in his first USHL game.

Surprise surprise. Is it really hockey season if the committed recruits thread isn’t flooded with Eiserman highlights?

What a wild sequence. Never seen a goalie without a mask without a scrum, though unclear what happened prior.
Eiserman gets a hat trick in the 2nd period against the Omaha Lancers.

Can’t wait to watch him for four years at the U!!!
?
What amazes me more than the hat trick is he put up a whopping TEN shots on goal. Love a player that doesn’t need to be told to shoot the puck.
Not sure if tBob made the right call on offering him a scholarship.

Looks legit...like an earthquake just hit the Gopher hockey community.
Oh, the joys of recruiting children who can't make up their minds. Weird it suddenly became important to him to "play close to home" for one season.
He's a one-and-done anyway, but it would have been fun.
That stings. Rats.
Why does this not surprise me?
NIL??
Woof. That sucks.
@slap-shot I feel like there was just something I read about this too. Something like he was getting offered 75k or something like that. This one sucks.
Which Boston team gets him?
Bu or Bc —- maybe Bc to play with Hagens.
Why does this not surprise me?
Honestly, I was expecting that if anything he might go straight to the NHL, not go to another school. Oh well, as we know more than anybody, superstars that stay around one year don't often work out.
At least he bailed now and not next summer. He's dead to me now.
Tough news. Need some good happenings on the recruiting front soon.
