Not a fan of that. I don't think Fanatics carry as much pure hockey stuff as Goldy's did. I see that a lot of Gold Country stores around the metro-Rochester are closing or closed. I guess online shopping is making storefronts less profitable.

Too bad they can’t make them look like the authentic tho...

I just checked mine. Patches on both shoulders/arms. I'm pretty sure that the Scheels and Fan Shop are the same ones. I think I paid $99 from Scheels with free shipping in October

I was just at Scheels today. They're priced at $110 now. Patches are on the shoulder, just like the Fan Shop.

I'm still hoping for the patches by themselves. Then I could put one on a more accurate jersey.

Speaking of 100 merch, pucks are back in stock at the Bookstore:

Joking aside, the puck doesn't look like the picture. The 100 logo is smaller and fits well inside the face of the puck.

Why wouldn’t it look like the picture?

This is what I was picturing:

Because it is a computer generated image superimposed over a photo of a puck. And poorly sized. The logo is larger than the puck itself. LoL

Keep in mind those are practice pucks, but yes the physical puck that the Bookstore sells looks like that, though the print finish might be different.

The official game puck has the same exact design too. The only difference (besides the print finish) is that that one just has the B1G logo on the reverse side. https://gophersports.com/galleries/mens-ice-hockey/mens-hockey-vs-asu/koster-mike/5126/89667

In all seriousness that puck does look more like the real thing than advertised from the photo on the website, which is very misleading.

It appears Vintage Minnesota Hockey may be doing the jerseys at some point. They do a great job, as I bought the Minnesota Gold Jersey from them.

Hmm, I did buy a few jerseys from VMH in the past and they turned out to be made by K1 that they were reselling, but since the tweet implies they're working on something more accurate, hopefully it's something they're making themselves like some of their other jerseys.

Can they make basketball shorts like the pants too?! Then I would feel appropriate.

*disclaimer* I will vouch for their jerseys as my wife’s Rau jersey is beyond great and my Bjugstad jersey generally nets me 1 PP goal fro the left face off circle per Men’s League game!

Not sure if this is the right thread, but would anyone happen to know anyone who makes custom jerseys for pets or maybe for babies? And I mean the design of the jersey is completely custom from the trim to the colors to the logo, etc. I've been thinking about having a custom jersey made for a friend's birthday later this year and would like her pet Yorkie to have a matching jersey.

Got the fan shop jerseys today. Meh. I have three other K1 jerseys - all the same size and they all fit differently granted one was from VMH so I think one of their higher quality lines. This one has longer sleeves than my other generic K1 Gopher jersey (which I like cause I have long arms) but is just slightly shorter and narrower so I wouldn’t be able to put much other than a thin pullover under it. Of course they aren’t on sale anymore so I can’t try a size up without forking out another $125 (and scheels is out of mediums).

I think my biggest beef is the patches. They are not stitched on and they are so big and stiff (ha ha) they sit really funny as they are wider than my arms.

I’ll probably hang on to it in the event I can’t get my hands on one from vmh and besides one can really never have too many Gopher hockey jerseys!

(This one makes 17 for me now I think). :)

Wait a couple days, there'll be another sale. With any luck, they'll even have free shipping.

I received mine as well. Overall a solid jersey. Why there are two patches makes zero sense but if you didn't know it was wrong it looks just fine.

I have a handful of Nike replicas, a couple VMH jerseys, and a Nike authentic that the bookstore sold awhile back. The authentic is in a league of it's own otherwise this fits in just fine with the rest. To me it looks better in person than online...online almost looked cream, it's white.

I have a 'replica' of the white alternate with GOPHERS in diagonal and that is a joke of a jersey, especially since I own the authentic and can compare. This jersey is just fine for a replica...now asking them to release authentics is a whole different conversion!

Overall, I think I have just over 60 jerseys (various teams, the leaders are Bills with 5, and Bucs with 3). About 40 FB, 20 hockey, 2 baseball, and one Irish rugby (as in a team in Ireland).

Used to know a guy who owned a sports store. Let me and my friends order jerseys for $10 over cost, instead of retail, when he put in his order. Also, the MOA store used to clearance many a jersey after the season, especially when a player was traded/retired/etc. Got a Dilfer Bucs replica for $10. :D

A Dilfer Bucs replica? Did they sneak it into your shopping bag for free when you bought a bottle of Surge?

And why do you still have it?

It was a jersey for $10.

It's not worth crap, so haven't sold it, and when people like you see it, and go "WTF?" it's worth it. ;)

I hate throwing out things that still have use. It's still in great condition, and yes, I wear it from time to time.

I have some real beauties in the ol' collection. A couple different Testaverde jerseys, including a TB Creamsicle (crap, that makes it 4 TB jerseys: Dilfer, Alstott, Lynch are the others, modern style). Don Beebe Packers (the player > team). Frank Pietrangelo Whalers (MN alum, baby!). Even a Jean-Sebastian Giguere Whalers (yes, he played for them).

Geez, I have 52 jerseys hanging in my closet alone and that's not counting jerseys I have stowed away in boxes or other types of uniforms. Maybe it was a good thing that there wasn't an Athletic Department garage sale last year.

To be fair (cue up Letter Kenny gif), I haven't bought a jersey in about 5 years. The last one was a 1980 replica of a Tretiak USSR. I think before that was the infamous AIC jersey that is hard to find (or was, I dunno anymore).

I *did* give my Kluwe Vikings one to Superstar for a wedding photo. She needed a #5 Vikings jersey, and I hadn't worn it in a few years, so what the heck. Good cause.

I'm guessing most of yours are off the shelf? What makes my case particularly bad is that at least ten of mine are completely custom that I went out and had someone make. I know the Ugly Sweater and Hawaiian Shirt ones have gotten noticed, but there are a lot more including some that I haven't even worn to games yet.

Vast majority. I'd say 10 (?) are specially ordered/found/etc. For some of my lettered jerseys, they were lettered after-market. Probably another 10 in that category.

When you tell somebody somethin', it depends on what part of the United States you're standin' in... as to just how dumb you are.

They are on sale again and actually come up as the 93.74 they were supposed to last time.

I *did* give my Kluwe Vikings one to Superstar for a wedding photo. She needed a #5 Vikings jersey, and I hadn't worn it in a few years, so what the heck. Good cause.

Thanks, Rube! Our Save The Date (5-15-21) pic turned out great. :)

The great thing is that it includes the spirit gear. My quarantine buddy was disappointed that she missed out of the Goldy gaiter from the Hockey City Classic several years ago, so she should be happy to hear that a similar gaiter is on sale.
