When people tell me I’ll regret not having kids, I say that’s okay I know a really good place to cry. It’s my vacation home.
A few things I’m looking for this year. Some of these are pretty obvious and previously mentioned. Need the entire sophomore class to be as good, if not better than last year. Depending on who it is. Need more from Pino and Strobel. J. Mittlestadt was a great fourth liner last year and the only thing I’m asking from him is a few more goals. But I love his motor and his compete. Snuggy just continue to get better and back up all of the good things he’s saying. Which I very much think he will. Losing Koster for the first month is tough but I feel very confident in our D corps. Fish is a vet and the three sophomore defenseman really grew into their own last year. Also I agree with Jup, I am all aboard the Chesley bandwagon. The kids a stud. There’s a few other things but this post is already getting long so I’ll say this. As many have already mentioned, Pitlick and Huglen will be very important to this team. Need the flashes that Pitlick has shown to be consistently who he is and if Huglen isn’t going to be an out and out goal scorer then please get 10+ goals and otherwise use his strengths (battling along the boards and possessing the puck) to help his line mates. Probably Pitlick and Lamb. Finally, boys, don’t grip the sticks too hard. It’s a long way to April and although last year will always sting there’s nothing we can do about it now. It’s in the past. So I hope they go play with a chip on their shoulders but I really hope they don’t tighten up and think, “we were so close last year. We HAVE to win it this year”. I mean, yeah, you do. But don’t play that way 😉
If Lamb, Kurth and Huglen each find their way to 10 goals I think we see this team at the X in April

The retro Goldy is awesome, although I wish it came in maroon-based, not gold-based (like the women have).

I’m old school and maybe boring. I would like the home whites and road maroons to always be the same. No real change year to year beside the fabric and who ever is makes the jerseys. Though the alt jerseys be the same every two years or so.

I didn’t mind the maroons either, but gold on the shoulders of the maroons started in the early 70s and carried on for almost 30 years. I don’t see this as a seismic shift or anything “untraditional.”
I generally like them, the gold alternate especially. For me, the stripes and shoulders are done properly; solid color with solid piping/trim. I've never liked the "stenciled" numbers and the "M" as it is currently formatted. In my opinion, numbers and "M" should look as below. I know it won't ever happen again, but that's just my 2¢.

Goldy’s locker has the maroon and white jerseys available (online only). Not the same fabric, the weird inner arm cutout, and the looks like the stupid long skinny style like they have done the last two versions. ?

This got so much worse. I bit the bullet and added a secondary account to get this going, but somewhere along the way a password didn’t save and I am back at square one after having paid for the package. Not getting any emails from them to the secondary account either.

Don’t want to start a new thread quite yet…but I got my Frozen Four tickets!! NCAA site wasn’t working when the priority time opened up, moments of panic! What am I doing wrong, but called and they said everyone was having issues and they were working on it. By 10:30 all was right in Hockeyland.
