They would be idiots not to do it this week because if they wait until next week it will just get lost in the lead up to week 1 of football.
So next week it is!

If the schedule release keeps getting later year after year soon it will get to the point where the Big Ten will start tell teams on each Monday who they play that week and where the series will be played. ?

The schedule is long known by the league... Usually by May. So it is 100% on the league. The staff at the U MAY have the schedule by now, but they don't usually get it until it is close to release. That at least gives them a few days to get their site updated for once it is released. Otherwise they are waiting around the same as we are.

In hindsight my post wasn't clear who I was poking fun of it was intended to be poking fun at the Big Ten league that they seem to continue to delay the release of the schedule so if the schedule release keeps getting latter each year that it will soon get to the point where they will be releasing it on a week by week basis on the Monday of each week's games. ?
The problem schools are Wisconsin & Ohio State due to hockey being in a multi use facility at both of those schools. Makes scheduling much more difficult.
Why OSU didn't make their new women's arena slightly larger and use it for both men and women just boggles my mind.

OSU completely screwed that whole thing up. That said, good for their womens’ program who basically play at the Columbus equivalent of Doug Woog arena in SSP

Just a note on this... their arena plans aren't final, they just authorized the design. I hope their new AD crunches the numbers for a design with a rink big enough for the women and men. They really could design a rink like SHU and come out just fine long term.

My suspicion is there was a power outage and there isn't anyone at the B1G offices who knows how to reset the clock.

10/28 home football against Michigan State is probably driving this. Since the football game time won't be announced until mid October the only other option would probably be Fri/Sun.

I TOTALLY got luck with the schedule. I just happen to look at the U schedule page when they had it up for about 1 or 2 minutes. PURE LUCK since the schedule was taken down. I just hit refresh and it is no longer live.

I shouldn't complain too much ( but I will ) since the schedules the last few years have been pretty good for us, but this year with Thurs-Fri, Fri-Sun and Sun-Mon home series, it is not ideal for those of us that live in the boondocks. Having 3 of those would burn up too much extra vacation time for the wife, so I'm guessing she is out for a couple of those. I guess that is the price I pay for having season tickets and living 3 1/2 hours away. BTW, I blame the B1G ?
I was recently informed by a GPLer that I'm related to Airey
Loaded the first try. Wasn't until I got a text from the SID giving me grief. I was like... "It is live on your site!"... He says he had it live for about 1min and that it was not live. I hit refresh and sure enough it was gone!
So pure luck that I hit their page just at the right moment.
