The auction is now up. Jersey bidding start at $350 and breezers start at $150.
They took the name patches off... 
Could they have left them on and given the player the choice to get some NIL money or donate that portion to their own charitable work?

I just read the official statement from the U. We will raise a 2022 Big Ten Championship banner and “honor the 2022 frozen four appearance”. So no banner, probably just a video on the jumbotron pregame. Phew, thought we were turning into St. Cloud there for a second.

I think Mr Loucks just assumed we'd put a banner up for the Frozen Four like a lot of schools do, and didn't realize Minnesota doesn't bother with a banner unless we make the championship game.

IIRC all Hockey City Classic jerseys sold for more than that too and those were just for a couple of gimmick games, so a minimum bid of $350, while higher than expected, isn't unreasonable.

The Wooger jerseys went for a pretty penny as well as some of the players parents got involved in the bidding.

In terms of who I want to see get a goal(s) it's Huglen. He has yet to score a goal this season. I wouldn't mind seeing either Knies or Snuggy come off the first line and play with Huglen in order to help get Aaron going.

They take name patches off too for the equipment sale. But for this fundraiser where the jerseys start at $350 that’s lame. They are so worried someone will turn around and sell it on eBay.
At least with the Wooger jerseys the original name patches are still there.

Coach in the radio post game interview said when Knies had the possible penalty shot with 7 minutes left in the 3rd period he asked him if he wanted it and Knies responded take the power play instead which coach was cool with since it takes 2 minutes off the clock (with the lead).
Knies also said he didn't want the penalty shot and was surprised he scored shorthanded because he usually isn't good on breakaways

Snuggy had 11 shots on goal in the game. Never pass up the shot when you are a sniper!!!
That’s about the exact formula for this team to win. Hot shot line was dominant. D smothered anything and everything. And Close was excellent when called upon. A thorough dominant performance. Now gotta bring it tomorrow!!
