Is there a term for a pitcher getting three outs on three pitches?
1. Several types of hot peppers are named after what class of animal—likely due to the fact that their tongues have no capsaicin receptors, making them one of the only creatures other than humans that will eat them?
Looked up this one, so I won't answer. Though my cat may eat a hot pepper. He'll eat some of the weirdest things, especially if I eat it.
Keep your stick on the ice...
1: I assume birds? I know birds don't have those receptors and eat peppers. As I recall, it's thought that capsaicin evolved in peppers as a way to stop mammals and maybe reptiles from eating them, as mammalian digestive systems (and I think reptilian) can kill the seeds, while avian digestion doesn't.
B1G refs... corrupt, or just incompetent?
@steve-mn I think it’s birds too. I often buy suet and there are certain ones that contain capsaicin to keep the squirrels away but doesn’t bother the birds.
THAT'S what I need to find for suet blocks. Already use safflower seed to keep the squirrels away from the feeders, but was having problems for the suet.@steve-mn I think it’s birds too. I often buy suet and there are certain ones that contain capsaicin to keep the squirrels away but doesn’t bother the birds.

I think his name is Patrick Warburton or something like that.
It is indeed. Obviously with a voice like that he gets a lot of voice work for animated productions. Kronk in The Emperor’s New Groove is probably my favorite.
He's phenomenal in introducing the Soarin' ride at Disneyworld. Oscar-worthy performance.
Joking aside, if you look at his Wikipedia page, the list of stuff he's been in is amazing.
Saw this on the Tweeter Machine:
Congrats to Utqiaġvik, AK. Today they begin their 83-day period with no sunset. The sun rose at 2:33 a.m. and will not set until until August 3rd. They still have snow on the ground (typical for the date) and their high temperature today was 27F (1F above normal).
