4) my hubby is a fan of sailing.  You’ll beat me to it.  He sails a 21’ Hunter up at our cabin.  It’s a money sucking pit.  I’ve threatened for years I’m giving him a Viking funeral when he goes so I can set that POS on fire.  He just calmly responds, it’s fiberglass, it won’t burn.  But it will sink when I drill some holes in it, good enough ?

Note: Due to inflation dirty deeds will no longer be done dirt cheap.

A combination of holes, temporary plugs, wood and oil would fix that burning/sinking issue quite nicely.

Monstrous Appearances: Five questions about why your Halloween costumes look the way they do.

  1. “Night of the Living Dead” was the first movie to show zombies as slow and lumbering. Before that, they walked at a pretty normal pace. What director made that movie?
  1. Judaism, Christianity, and Islam all say that dead bodies should be wrapped in natural, undyed cloth called a shroud. This explains the look of what iconic Halloween costume?
  1. Medieval morality plays, possibly starting with Goethe’s “Faust,” often depicted what figure as an actor in a full-body monochromatic outfit, leading to the costumes you could get at Spirit Halloween today?
  1. Modern portrayals of sirens usually depict them as half-fish, like mermaids. But the original Greek sirens were actually half human, half what other animal?
  1. What film character, whose 1939 film portrayal by Margaret Hamilton set the archetype for Halloween costumes ever afterward, is described in the original book only as wearing three pigtails and an eyepatch?
