For me it was probably drinking as a 13/14 year in some very public places in Germany (Train Stations, small cafes, etc.).

For the Germans it wasn’t a big deal but as the son of a serviceman there it was if the Military Police (Or perhaps worse my dad) ever caught you. I very clearly remember being mid drink at a Cafe once when a MP walked past. My friend and I bolted out the back before he returned and ran straight down to the train station. Just as the train doors were shutting a few minutes later we saw three sets of MP boots coming down the steps.

When I was studying abroad in London I took a flight to visit some family friends in Basil, Switzerland. I was about one of five people on the British Air flight that went direct to Switzerland. Probably about a 1 and a half hour flight. Well I ended up passing the time speaking to the flight attendant most of the way and he had the drinks cart with him so I got absolutely obliterated on the plane. Getting off I had to go thru customs just sloshed. I still remember the look of amusement/disdain from the passport control officer as I side stepped up to the counter and could barely get the words here to visit friends out while speaking to him. Knowing me I’m surprised I kept it together. Could’ve been an awful mess if I decided to make a joke.

I don’t know if that’s that bad but it’s a great memory.

2nd one would be I was at Blarneys at the U and my cousin thought it would be funny to get me shots... I can drink just fine but the speed of taking a shot causes a violent chain reaction to occur where I hurl. Got the first one down but the second...yeah that wasn’t good. What made it worse was that the toilets are in the basement and I made it halfway down before vomiting all over this gorgeous girl on her way up. I wasn’t done so I just yelled sorry as I continued running towards the bathroom. I didn’t see her but my cousin said she was covered from the waist down.

I didn't drink in H.S. after I attended a few parties in 10th grade (long story) but after the state track tournament my senior year I had a party at my house while my parents were out of town. 2 kegs of the Bull later and there was some major cleanup to do once everyone but 2 friends left. We thought we had the whole house cleaned. A day after my parents were home I discovered that one of the shelves on this glass shelving case they had was still completely soaked by I assume beer. It was loaded with trinkets from traveling, so I had to wait until mom and dad were not around to clear it all up and dry everything off. They never knew of the party until I divulged it many years later.

My best stories have not be declassified yet so I will share this one because it was neat at the time and knowing what I know now it probably would have been a big deal had we been caught then.

1996 State HS tourney. We stayed at Embassy Suites downtown St Paul. Same hotel as Duluth East. After the Apple Valley game, the whole place was out on the railings around the atrium or whatever it is and clapped when the team got back to the hotel.

Well, they didn’t waste time getting their drink on after losing. We ended up in a room with most of the team and I won’t drop names, but there was quite a bit of bitching about a certain player by his line mates. Besides the MSHSL rules, my parents would have killed me had I gotten caught.

My brother and I used to do WWE (we'd choreograph, like the pros do) in our living room. Piledrivers on the couch (cushions, so SAFETY! Right? ....right?), Sharpshooters, etc.

He ended up powerbombing me on the coffee table, absolutely destroying it.

Tripped and fell was the official story. Whoops. Parents bought it, though. It was plausible.

Bonus, once my aunt thought that the Texas Cloverleaf was BS. She voluntarily offered to be put in one. She was wrong.

For the uninformed, here's how to do it, and yes, it hurts:

Like in the video I posted, you walk through the moves, so you know what each other is going to do. Do that a couple times for a "match" then you go full speed.

Be prepared most guys only use one-word descriptions for colors. Many of use read your favorite color as "yellow:"

Then you must have loved the maroon and gold plaid Elmer Fudd hats they gave out a few years ago! Very stylish.

I'm not going to fault an Irish person for liking kelly green.

I also like that shade of green, but on a hockey jersey it must be accompanied by yellow.

The question was fave color....not on a jersey....Just saying. :D

But Kelly green on a jersey is also cool.

And being old, I forgot black. I love the color black almost as much as a goth person. Not quite, but close.

Boy we are going nuts at home huh?

I can't say I have ever had a "favorite" color. I have always liked color schemes. Even though EGF looked like a Christmas tree back when I played there, I like red, white and green. They have muted the red a lot since then, which is fine I guess, but I liked that. I always have liked black/orange. I do like maroon and gold, but the high school my kid will be going to is crimson and Florida State gold....so gross. I can't bring myself to buy any hat or shirt or anything.

When my kids have asked me this question though, they don't let me get away with schemes so I say red. In high school, I had a pair of Nike all-red turf shoes that I wore EVERYWHERE....loved those shoes.
