I don't know if anyone else did this, but after the mini tweet-burst, I watched PSU's shots closely in the next game. There were some very close calls. One specific one was a shot from about the top of the circle. The goalie caught it with his glove. It probably was a little wide, and no shot was counted. I was shocked. There were a few others that I thought they might count but didn't. It seemed clear to me that they ratcheted back a little. Maybe they got shamed a little...

And to answer your comment Composer, yes, I tracked them both nights. After I sent the comment to the PSU twitter account, they did start calling them much better. I think on the Friday night game I had them off by at least 12-15 IIRC. The same thing happened a few years ago when we called them out on it. The numbers the following nights were much more in line with normal teams.
