The other game...
I'm 50% factual and 50% sarcastic. When you get to know me, you will know which is which.
Michigan will win comfortably. Of the teams left:
1. MN
2. MI
3. BU
4. Q
Quinnipiac is going to have to play stifling defense and dictate the play to have a chance. Thinking similar to how the cows played us last year.
Will Mel be in the front row wearing his Michigan starter jacket?

I remember when people said Penn State would struggle...
Qs strength is Michigan's weakness. Don't count them out.
If you believed in Penn State this weekend you were in the vast minority
I didn't think they would win but I did think they would give them a game. Michigan struggles when teams don't let them skate and PSU loves to clog things up and throw lumber.
I won't pick Q either but Michigan hasn't earned the benefit of the doubt any more than we have. Q will frustrate the heck out of them if Michigan can't show early.
Michigan opens as -160 favorites. Implied winning percentage of about 61%.
Penn's attempt to shift to defense came too early. Not something they are good at.
They definitely scared Michigan.
I thought Michigan would walk through them easily. It will be interesting to see how Q does with them.

Yes, they started playing offense again after getting scored on and almost ended it with Portilllo out of position, leaving an open net.
Penn State is geared to rush the puck and trying ro play like Mankato or UMD with 10 minutes left was a mistake.
I won't say I thought PSU would win, but I thought they'd give them a fight. THIS big a fight, yes, a little surprised. MI is gonna roll Q, I think.
When you tell somebody somethin', it depends on what part of the United States you're standin' in... as to just how dumb you are.
I think this is a fascinating matchup. I don’t think Michigan is going to coast by like some think. The Q is a well coached team, and emphasizes in defense.
Think they have proven themselves this tournament by beating a Hockey East and a B1G team. Giving the Q almost 2 weeks to prepare should help.
After watching all of the games over the last 4 days,I think that QU not only has a chance to beat Mich., but I think they will beat them.
QU is a defense first team that runs the plays up the edges. They frustrated OSU as much as they frustrated Mercyhurst. They have team speed; high scoring talent and probably the best remaining goalie in the tournament.
While anything can, and usually does happen, I am going with QU for the win. On the other hand, I only have 1 remaining team in my bracket, so there's that...

I think much of this one depends on how Michigan decides to play. Are they willing to chip pucks deep or will they have guys trying to make hero plays? PSU frustrated the crap out of them yesterday and it almost paid off (why Gadowsky went shell so early is beyond me, PSU can't hold up that way--> see the game they lost vs us scoring late). Q plays a style that can give high scoring, free wheeling teams fits and counters with an attack that punishes your mistakes. I'd take Michigan to win, but if Q gets up early on some mistakes, they actually have the ability to pack it in and hold them off where it felt inevitable for Mich to find the back of the net against PSU
Should be an entertaining game. Wouldn't be surprised at all if Quinnipiac wins this one.
Yes—I would worry about playing them—afraid that the team will (perhaps subconsciously) not take them as seriously as they should.
One advantage Q will have is I don't think they change much from game-to-game regardless of who they are playing. The only deviation would be if they get down by more than a goal or are down with less than five in the game. Otherwise they continue to play the same (boring but effective) game and if they get the lead break out the no-doz.

Well that's what they do every game. Did you not watch them beat OSU?
