Stopping 17/26 shots (65%) for their freshman goalie spot starting for their hurt starter is a real tough one

Gophers now can't get ahead of Maine.
If Maine wins tomorrow, Gophers can still be #4 overall with a Western Michigan loss in either game this weekend.
If UConn wins they are #3. Western sweeps they are #4. A Loss and Maine is #4, Gophers #5.
If both UConn and Western win titles, Gophers drop to #6 and might be headed east.

id still guess we’re in Fargo no matter what (there’s just not many options out west this year, and the only auto left is PSU which is out east). Only way is if it’s 3 HE teams in the top 4 and they send MSU to Fargo and pull us out there to score MSU as the 1-2 in Fargo. Far more likely they send an HE or WMU if we’re bumped off the one line and we pair as the 2 seed there as OSU is the only B10 3 and they’ll want them out east and they’ll need them to match up with an HE 2.

Both ASU and the green plague have to win this weekend to make the tourney no matter what.
