Future Schedules

NCAA teams are allowed to play 34 games during the regular season, not including conference postseason tournaments and the NCAA tournament. Special games and games played in Alaska are exempted from the 34-game limit.

The Ice Breaker Tournament games are exempt which allows for additional games to the schedule that year and is run by College Hockey Inc. The U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame Game is an exempt game generating revenue for the U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame and Museum in Eveleth.

North Dakota

A New Four-Year Agreement with North Dakota 2030-2033

The teams will play in Ralph Engelstad Arena in 2030/31 and 2032/33. They’ll play at 3M Arena at Mariucci in 2031/32 and 2033/34

Boston College

Minnesota will head to Boston College for the 2027/28 season on 10/8/27 & 10/9/27. This is the return trip to BC’s visit to Mariucci at the beginning of the 2025/26 season.

North Dakota

Minnesota and North Dakota Signed a Four-Year Agreement 2025-2029

The teams will play in Ralph Engelstad Arena in 2025/26 and 2027/28. They’ll play at 3M Arena at Mariucci in 2026/27 and 2028/29.

Minnesota Duluth

Minnesota and Minnesota Duluth Signed a Five-Year Agreement 2024-2028

The teams signed an agreement in 2022 to play a home and home series on November 3 and 4, 2023 for the 2023/24 season. The teams then play in Duluth on October 18 and 19, 2024 for the 2024/25 season and will be back in Duluth for the 2026/27 season. They play at 3M Arena at Mariucci on October 24 and 25, 2025 for the 2025/26 season and will be back in Minneapolis for the 2027/28 season.
