Not surprised, but very disappointed that this is the precedent the league is setting.

If somebody slips on that and gets hurt they'd be suspending him but since he got lucky nobody stepped on it all he has to do is write a check for like 1/5000th of his contract this year. That'll definitely teach him a lesson.

Edit to add: Seeing reports he's getting fined the same $100,000 that Rudy got fined for making the money sign earlier this season. Which Murray also did last night.

Ridiculous that he wasn’t suspended.

Its ridiculous but they weren't going to suspend him.  If he doesn't play the series is likely over in 4 and no one watches game 4.

Crazy thing is it wasn't just a Wolves player at risk for slipping on that bag.  It's not like he tossed with precision so that only a Wolves player was in its path.  In fact he probably didn't have the foresight to think that far ahead.  If I was one of his teammates I'd have been pissed off.

Nori on PAs show Mon said he asked the ref why there wasn’t a technical called.

Ref: I didn’t see who threw it

Nori: I’ve been in the league 28 years and I’ve never seen a fan bring a heating pad to a game.

Pretty easy to just t up the Denver bench, not sure how you don’t call something.

Boston and OKC both lose at home. Wolves (closes eyes) are looking like a very serious title contender.

Entire Denver teams throws a toddler tantrum about every call against them, Naz (who never does) complains once and gets T’d up.

The officials don’t “decide” games but holy cow for no consistency from game to game. If this is how it’ll be called the rest of the way, I’ll take Denver to win the next 3 as well. Seemed like they got very timid after the initial ticky tack shit seemed to take away their swag and there’s zero consistency in how the call Joker in the post (he initiates a ton of contact and flops like he’s shot every time he’s touched out there). The fouls will get evened up here in the fourth because it’s what they do, but entirely decided how the game was played tonight

From many accounts (including KFAN) the refs were in the Wolves' favor game 2. I get consistency, I wish that would happen, that's the best reffing. HOWEVER, any Wolves fan than complains about how the refs are out to get them...hush. Blame consistency, or lack thereof, but not conspiracy.

I agree with this. However, Jamal Murray should not have played tonight.

Nothing personal but those accounts are run by people that didn't watch the game.

Ant got a technical for looking at a player, DEN coach Malone did not for throwing a tantrum halfway across the court, the DEN bench did not get one for Murray's antics, a DEN player blatantly elbowed KAT in the nuts with an elbow but KAT ended up with a foul, DEN shot more free throws and was called for fewer fouls. All in Game 2.

yeah but that CHARGE could’ve essentially crippled someone. /s.

they let them play physically at both ends in game 2 and went wildly the other way tonight. Just call it the same so guys can adjust and we don’t end up with our most versatile defender instantly in foul trouble every game

Part of every team sport is adjusting to how the refs are calling the game. It’s just a fact of life, try to fight it and you’ll lose. You can play more physical if they let you and have to back off a little if they call it tight.

Pre game 3, I offered a bet to a buddy, who's only missed 3 Wolves home games since their inception. I said, gimme 15-1 odds, I bet Wolves lose this series. He didn't take it. Hm, not so confident, huh?

That’s a tough bet regardless how confident in any best of 7 series. There’s no meat on the bone for your buddy.

It's an easy win, theoretically (at the time). For me, hey, either I win some meal money or the Wolves advance.

lol...If U bothered to watch the game, Kyle is the LAST guy to finger. Jaden McDanial & Alex Walker couldn’t make a shot to save their lives. Rudy took dumb fouls in 4th qtr & missed free throws. KAT missed runner after runner. Only one who played great was (no surprise) ANT with 44 points. Jokic unbelievable as usual…Murray played great too, championship pedigree shined through (unfortunately)

No. My point is he’s a non-factor except for playing some D, nobody counts on him to score.

Obviously it’s really disappointing to drop both games at home.. with that said if you take a step back you are tied 2-2 with the defending champs. And still have another game at home no matter what happens on Tuesday. Great teams navigate the ebs and flows of a series. It’s not over (yet).

Alright, I’ll admit Kyle deserves some BLAME…lol Kyle Anderson only played 6 minutes, 11 seconds but the Wolves were outscored by 18 points in that time. ☝️ Clearly my reading comprehension had a hiccup 😉 KAT & Jaden & Rudy were culprits too though! lol 🔥

I don’t follow much NBA but watching this series flip seems more to do with what Denver is doing right more than what the wolves are doing wrong. They came to target center shot out of a fricken cannon with some definite attitude and took away the wolves swagger. Denver is sinking everything outside they weren’t in games 1,2 and taking it to the rim in aggressive attack mode and the wolves can’t stop them consistently like they were. It’s hard to watch them up against the ropes taking gut punches. Hopefully the annalists talk about how the wolves are done now and use it as motivation and they can find that spark to relight the fire.

The Wolves can’t play another game as good as game 2 (shooting and defensively) and Denver can’t shoot as well as they did as a team in game 4. We’ll see.

IMHO…game 4 was the GAME. They lost & accordingly most likely lose the series because they lost (game 4). Nonetheless, one can (still) HOPE!

The Wolves need to exhibit a turnaround no less improbable than Denver's. It's hard to believe they are in this position, but anything can happen...hopeful, not confident.

This was the issue that messed with my head.  How did they all make every single shot while at the same time KAT was 1 for 10 or something similar.

Conley is out tonight with an Achilles injury.

KAT limped to the locker room with what looks like a knee issue.

Same result.  Time to play defense again and hit the three pointers like they did in games one and two. Townes knee (s?) look bad. Hope he takes the drugs and heals quickly.

Wolves lose by 15. Denver answered a nice Wolves run to start the 3rd quarter with a 23-8 run in a 5 minute stretch of the 3rd quarter and then made a big shot every time the Wolves tried to push back. Wolves had a lot of wide open shots that didn't go in, and it seemed like Denver got everything they threw in the direction of the basket to fall.

Jokic showed everyone why he's a 3x MVP. 40 points, 13 assists, 7 rebounds, 0 turnovers. Ant had maybe his worst postseason game of his career going 5/15 shooting and turning it over 4 times.

No Conley killed the Wolves in the first half. 10 turnovers alone in the 2nd quarter. Somehow ended the first half only down 6 points, but Naz Reid picked up 4 fouls in 8 minutes on the court which, when combined with no Conley, meant 16 minutes of Kyle Anderson being absolutely useless in the offensive end. Denver was leaving him wide open and he refused to shoot or drive the lane.

Hopefully KAT is all right and Conley can play game 6, though at this point I'm not sure it matters. Denver seems to have solved the defenses the Wolves are throwing at them.

After the last 3 games it begs the question, how did the TWolves win games 1 & 2? Their confidence appears absolutely shattered by the Jokic & the Nuggets. I’ll be shocked if Nuggets don’t repeat as Champs, the way they’re playing now. So MINNESOTA pro sports team to crash & burn like this…or said differently…to have the unfortunate luck of jump starting a RED 🔥 🏀 opponent
