Great catch by Addison!!!!
That was impressive.
@the-rube Wow. That’s really relevant to NFL players.
It is. Leverage is leverage. Hit the opposing player in the right spot, size doesn't matter.
When you tell somebody somethin', it depends on what part of the United States you're standin' in... as to just how dumb you are.
Finally! Now let’s Go Defense! SKOL

I don’t know, he pissed/turned a lot of people off with how things ended in Miami. We’ll see.
I was hoping that if he did go Saleh would still be around to jump in, but Green Bay had to screw that up like they always do.

I know there’s a lot of politics around it but if I’m a GM I want that dude running my team every day.
Why do we run the ball behind our weakling C Bradbury (near the goal line) we always go backwards. Despite that… TD Nailor!
Evidently Reichard is hurt, but not badly enough to skip PATs.
If the ref would have made the correct call/penalty when the Colt defender hit Darnold in the head on their defensivee TD the score would be Vikings up 14-0.

I’ll be a little surprised if he gets another HC job. He also seems to be happy/doing well here. Just need to pay him
Sam?

Good call. Don’t mind him making that throw when there’s no coverage. 😆
Thank goodness we were playing the colts who seemed to have no interest in trying to grab ahold of the game when the Vikes were all out of sorts. Good to get to 6 wins and try keep pace with the top of the NFC
The Vikings offense had 29 first downs and 416 yards.
If Reichard wasn't kicking with an injury he makes the two FGs and the offense puts up 27 points.
The over/under on Vikings wins this season was 6.5 I think the over is going to hit.
A win is a win is a win. Ugly game, questionable hit to Darnold’s head on strip sack TD by Colts, zebras picked up flag. Most encouraging aspect was Vikings D only allowed 2 FG the entire game…one during garbage time.

A buddy (when the Vikes were 5-0) bet me they wouldn't win 12 games. Oh, I took that bet. Of course, he's a standard MN pessimist, and yes, I used that to my advantage. 😀

Glad to be wrong, ballsy win for the Vikes

You should’ve placed a bet. Going into tonight game Vikings were at 10.5.

So true… you win games you shouldn’t and lose games you shouldn’t. You win ugly and lose ugly.

Good luck, but I don't think they get to 11. 🙃

Didn’t have to wait too long for the first WTF throw from Darnold.
Jefferson was one on one which he normally wins but the defender did a great job of getting he hand in. The deflection pops the ball up in the air for the INT.
The defender did grab Jefferson's shoulder which could have been called so we will see if they continue to call it that way both ways.
That pick will be overturned
Do we ever get a fair shake from the refs?
My God, what are these officials doing?
It is crazy to not overturn that pick. Not the reason if we lose though. We should win

That incorrect call likely took 7 points off the board. It is much more difficult when you have to beat your opponent and the refs.
The Darnold throw wasn’t actually intercepted. But with that said, can’t hold ball for 5 seconds in the pocket this close to goal line & then throw a contested ball. Darnold has to play SMARTER.
On the drive Hockenson had four straight first down conversions/receptions on 3rd & 3, 3rd & 7, 3rd & 7, and 3rd & 5. He also drew a defensive holding penalty on another play.
He is such an important player. It is great to have him back.
Lousy 1st Half by Vikings. Need to really pick up their level to win on the road.
Darnold sucks, he was a Jets draft choice I can not believe how many turnovers he has in the redzone
Aloha!
Total yards: Vikings 182, Jaguars 101
First Downs: Vikings 13, Jaguars 6
Yards per play: Vikings 5.2, Jaguars 3.7
Turnovers: Vikings 2, Jaguars 0
Two plays were the story of the first half. Both turnovers involved missed called by the refs.
Darnold can be better (and hopefully will be) but he is who is he makes some mistakes that is why we were able to sign him as free agent for 10 million dollars which is VERY cheap for the guy who is going to be your starting QB. Now if McCarthy wouldn't have gotten hurt he might have taken over as the starter at some point in the second half of this season.
If we were getting a fair shake from the refs we are likely ahead.
Even if both drives end in FGs it is Vikings 9-7 but either or both drives could have ended in TDs.
The ball was in the air when the Jags DB grabbed Jefferson's shoulder on the deflection INT in the first quarter.
36.5 rating currently.
I don't think there will be any more talk about the need to sign Darnold to a mutli year deal like there was earlier this season.
The refs try to screw us again calling the 3rd down Jaguars pass a catch when he is clearly out of bounds. Thankfully this time the replay booth corrects it with the expedited review.
Man the refs are having a really bad day and why when they get something wrong is it always against us on key plays?
Jacksonville has had 2 interceptions all season till today, today alone they have 3
Aloha!
This newer call on illegal formation is BS. If it was as called consistent I would be ok with it. It’s not. Not even close to being called consistently.
Keep your stick on the ice...
The Vikings pick up a 3rd & 13 from the Jaguars 18 that would have set up a 1st and goal at the 4 yard line but the Vikings new LT Cam Robinson (who they got from Jacksonville in a trade two weeks ago after Darrisaw got hurt) was too far off the line scrimmage. Tackles tend to try to get away with this on 3rd down especially when it is 3rd and long.
The Vikings were unable to get the 3rd and 18 and kick a FG.
Jags up 7-6
Due to injuries the Vikings have both a new long snapper and kicker this game. On the FG the snap was high but the holder did a great job.
This could be a factor.
The Vikings have dominated almost every area of this game.
After 3 quarters: Total Yards Vikings 310 Jaguars 119
Hockenson is going to need to fly in a much needed ice bath on the airplane.
Keep your stick on the ice...
Vikings kick a FG
Parker Romo 9
Jaguars 7
The Vikings have 41 plays in Jaguars territory. The Jags have 34 plays total.
I was just typing a reply that I’m surprised Jacksonville has had no fumbles the way the Vikings have hit Jones and their RBs.
