As usual, the Vikings don’t look good.
Here is the team we were hoping not but kinda knew we had.
Dallas even getting a FG try at the end of the half is totally unacceptable.
They’ve proved me wrong a few times this season, but all those other times you could point to at least one drive where things went well. Not so in this one. Both lines completely owned.

I can’t stand Cousins but not sure today is the day to pound this take. The Vikings got manhandled at the line of scrimmage today and if they had Tom Brady in his prime out there it wouldn’t have made a difference.

We’ve gone thru this before but while you can call him the 8th best or tenth or twelfth today, when you factor in age and potential he starts sliding way down the list. I’d much rather have guys like Tua or Lawrence or Fields who will have long careers and continue to improve. We know what Kirk is and this is it. He’s not making players around him better or making game changing plays. The Vikings ignoring the QB position is gonna hurt them sooner than later as they’ll have to continue to sign high dollar FAs instead of developing a draft pick.
Right now, this moment, he's 8ish. If one wants to ask "Who do you want as QB for the next 5-10 years?" That answer changes, and I have zero issue with that. That is a big difference in rating QBs.

They have done this before and bounced back from it. It seems like the team knew immediately the game plan was not going to work and packed it in. I don't know why it seems like the players here get too hyped on themselves. It happened when they beat New Orleans then got destroyed by Philly. This loss felt like the same exact thing. I would say yesterday told us a lot about who they are as a team....lose their starting left tackle and a corner back and they're a pushover.
