Modric ices Argentina. He's so damn good. Might be the best midfielder in the world, for me.

Messi is definitely retiring from the NT, right? I'd be shocked if we ever see him in an Argentina shirt again, after this tournament.

There's your (deserved) punishment for Neymar. He could have scored if he didn't flop.

Soccer - So fun to play but rough to watch with dives and honestly more annoying time wasting

Hockey - So fun to play and so fun to watch

Neymar is going to continue to get fouled all tournament but because he flops like Robbie Earl and cries like a toddler he will rarely get the benefit of the doubt. He’s such a fantastic player that it just takes away from how skilled he is.

Can they go back and look at Marcelo’s slap? I’m surprised none of the referees cause that because that sure looked like a straight Red to me.

Brazil's really gotta pick it up or they're going to get worked in the knockout round.

When they brought on Douglas Costa the game changed completely. At one point they had Coutinho, Firmino, Neymar, Gabriel Jesus, Douglas Costa, and Casemiro on the field...

I thought the VAR could look at that but I was thinking post match action being taken.

Not necessarily where the Icelandic player missed but more how he missed. Basically a chip shot which was missed pretty badly - it looked to be 2 feet above the bar.

It was just such a purple Skol like miss. LoL

Will be interesting to see how a broken Argentina team performs against them, with everything on the line. Door wide open for Nigeria now!

I'm not a soccer expert that appeared to be a significant defensive breakdown by Serbia. Shock

Shaqiri always looks to me like that fat guy in rec 40+ soccer but man is he a hell of a player.

This has been a fantastic game and looks to be a great setup for Serbia - Brazil in a few days

He reminds me of a wrestler, low center of gravity but deceptively quick and fast and seems to play with his chin stuck out like he's triple-dog-daring you to hit him. Shock LoL

That was really a fun game to watch. Really intense.

Working from home has some advantages. :D

Pretty meaningful goal celebrations for both Xhaka and Shaqiri, who are both ethnically Albanian. Playing against Serbia. Just a biiit of tension there. Shock

Given how porous Argentina is defensively they might not have a lot of fun if Nigeria opens up their offense.

South Korea could be wearing green in this game......chances of a handshake line fight seem high.

Belgium's path to the quarterfinals looks like a cake walk. England, too, though I'm sure they'll make it look much harder than it needs to be.

As Twellman has stated a few times on Sportscenter, the Brinks truck is right behind the VAR officials.

Panama and Costa Rica already eliminated after two games. Makes you wonder how well the US would of done if they made the World Cup. Or was it a good thing not making the World Cup to ruffle some feathers in US Soccer for future years.

Whoops. My bad. They’d still beat Costa Rica though. Maybe not as bad as Panama.
