You know, he’s a good guy too. Him winning the Masters & completing the career GrandSlam (as a by-product) is good for the game. He has carried himself with dignity & class, both in victory & defeat. And he’s certainly bled for this Major victory, it’s been 10 years & 8 months since he won the 2014 PGA at Valhalla. That shows incredible resilience!
Rory's raw emotion was incredible to witness.....it definitely got dusty in the room

The U has ignored Les for so many years it’s surprising they remembered they owned it.

Total CHOKE by Tommy Fleetwood trying to win his 1st title on PGA tour. Bogeys 16 & 18 while Keegan Bradley birdies 18 for the win after Fleetwood left his lag putt short, then missed a 5 footer from 4 inches behind Keegan’s mark, giving him the line. Fleetwood may never win a PGA event after this brutal ending.
When Scottie hit his approach shot to one foot on the 1st hole of the final round to extend his lead to 5 shots, the Open Championship was OVER. Rory’s had a great year winning the Masters, Players & at Pebble Beach (in February) but Scottie is clearly the best golfer in the World, having won the PGA & Open & RBC Heritage & Byron Nelson in Dallas…and it’s really not even close! When Scottie’s putting is ON…no one can beat him (right now) because he’s a better ball striker than anyone else. it’s fun to watch that level of excellence. 👍
Oh, man, that wasn't even close. Ugh. What a tourney, though.
After making birdies on four of the last five holes (totally unnerving his playing partner Fleetwood in the process) kind of nice to see the 45 year old Rose…prevail on the 3rd playoff hole! 👍
I really wanna see Fleetwood get a win on the PGA tour sometime. Dude is such a good golfer but he has been absolutely snakebitten in US events. And each time he gets close to the win and can't close it he gives classy interviews despite clearly being frustrated and/or heartbroken. Was really hoping he'd seal the deal yesterday when it became clear Scottie wasn't going to be able to put up a low enough number to win, but he got off to such a rough start and never really recovered.
Snakebitten, yes. But he has completely melted at the end of golf tournaments.
Wiped the long iron on 16 into the par 5, proceeds to hit a clunky terrible chip. Ends up having to make a 6 footer for par on the easiest hole on the course.
On 17 he hit a poor iron shot, an average at best pitch shot to 7 feet, and a putt that had zero chance to go in.
Scottie is an amazing player. He’s on an arc (and closing in on rapidly) to being regarded as the best golfer since Tiger!
Scottie is the only player since Tiger did it…to win 5+ PGA Tournaments in back to back years.
it’s tough because he likely will not get close to the wins total or majors of tiger, but so much of that is the competition is scary good in today’s age. Back then Tiger could physically do things no one else could and entirely changed courses to try adapt to him. It amazes me how much Scheffler still is winning now despite all the others who are massively more skilled than guys of the past (obviously can be a debate how much is tech related)

Scotties ability to handle pressure during the final round was demonstrated Sunday. That chip in from 82 feet on 17 was EPIC! He’s clearly separated himself from his peers on the golf course ⛳️
After 2 rounds completed the last 36 holes at the Tour Championship is setting up for another Tommy Fleetwood implosion. He’s tied for the the lead at -13 lol…Meanwhile Scottie stands in 6th place at -8
