I've been to nearly every state and more than a dozen countries, including several for extended periods of time. People everywhere have pros and cons, and there is NO reason to assuage the faults of non-Minnesotans in comparison.
Minnesota nice isn't fake so much as people there are a hard nut to crack. But once you're past the shell it's as good or better than anyplace I've ever been. Not unlike Germany among others.

That slight advantage for Florida is from Florida playing at home and it’s tough to beat a team 4 games in a row.
I’ll take Edmonton regardless. Looking at Florida, they are stunned and Edmonton has all the momentum. And McDavid is due for a McDavid type night where he become McJesus for all of Edmonton and has a statue of him in ‘The Moss Pit’. Joey Moss is going smiling down from heaven.

Did Florida underestimate the fight in the dog? Obviously Edmonton has shown they’re not going down without a fight and now it looks like they’re more motivated to conquer the great comeback than florida is to win the cup. Game 7 should be one for the books! Can’t wait!
Florida definitely is "off" right now. Add to it that they've pretty much caught none of the "breaks" and now they're reeling. We'll see if Maurice and that leadership room can right the ship, but Edmonton has managed to almost entirely neutralize Florida's forecheck. Huge portion of that is that they've been able to get up early in every game which lets them shade back and play more defense, which allows their breakout to flow more nicely. Will be curious to see if Florida tries to change things up. thought they've tried to play too cute especially in the offensive end rather than the usual shooting gallery they go for. Will be a fun game 7, hopefully with all the stars for both teams showing up.
On that note, will be interested to see what the fallout is about Tkachuk, who has been virtually nonexistant aside from late in game 5. More penalties than points (and overall just 13 points in the last 18 games after he was rolling vs TB). He Barkov and Reinhart all have been really quiet this postseason compared to their usual averages.
I think FLA is getting into their own heads. Aside from that overturned goal, they've just been outplayed the last two games. EDM has had massive puck control during that span.

I think Panthers show their steel & bounce back to make it close, although Oilers have all the momentum. Whoever scores first will have a key advantage. No one wants to chase the game (trailing) in game 7. So I expect tight checking (especially early) by both teams. But if Fla doesn’t break through & score a power play goal…I do think Edm will score on power play & that could be the difference. Especially on replay, I don't like that tripping call. Might have been harder to tell live from the angle the Ref was at that he lost and edge and fell. He was obviously trying to make himself as small as possible to try to avoid contact.

I haven't seen these teams during reg season, but seems to me that EDM is flashy/pretty goals, and FLA is more a workhorse team. That being said, I would compare this game to the Celtics/Lakers of the 80s, or that Super Bowl of Rams' Greatest Show On Turf vs grind it out Patriots...

I felt coming in that Florida has better goaltending and a higher average talent level than Edmonton. Frankly, I was surprised, though delighted, to see the Oilers win 3 straight.
This might be a regression-to-the-mean game, meaning it would be a rare event for one team to beat another in 4 straight...unless we're talking about the Yankees and the Twins.
