They won't do it in the playoffs unless something drastic changes. McDavid somehow only drew like one penalty or something ridiculous last playoffs

You're likely right but a girl can dream.
Not sure about ya’ll but I’ve already lost that Kraken feeling.
Scrolled back a bit and didn’t see a post. JT Brown played high school at Rosemount, college at UMD, had an NHL career which included the Wild is the tv color announcer for the Seattle Kraken. He teamed up with John Forslund.

Dead spin just published an article on the Chicago Blackhawks who knew what/when. Kyle Beach came forward as the Jon Doe in the report who was assaulted and the team did nothing. Hawks reputation just gets worse, Kane already got away with assault and more, Deadspin article puts a lot of blame on Toews for being the Captain and being complicit. Coverup from the start.

Cheveldayoff can probably save himself some time and money and cancel his flight to New York.
Maybe apple and oranges...
This sexual assault stuff is so mind boggling. I know funny stuff and bantering happens in locker rooms, always has. Though these news stories from Proctor Football to the Chicago Blackhawks is so out of control. I just don't get it. I know some stuff that was overlooked in the 80s and 90s isn't so overlooked in 2021. Though these headline stories now would have been headline stories in the 80s and 90s if they weren't swept under the rug and overlooked.

Per a recent Garry Bettman statement: "Kevin Cheveldayoff was not a member of [Chicago's] senior leadership team in 2010, and I cannot, therefore, assign to him responsibility for the club's actions, or inactions. He provided a full account of his degree of involvement in the matter, which was limited exclusively to his attendance at a single meeting, and I found him to be extremely forthcoming and credible in our discussion."

Where's the superstar CO defenseman?
Where's the superstar CO defenseman?
Oh ya, duh! Already the best defenseman in the world. #5 overall.
Caufield (#74) is going to head to the 4th line or worse pretty soon. Looks like he played 12 minutes yesterday and kept steady with his one point this year. I think the list might have him a little high. I think I would rather have every college player below him on the list right now. Maybe not for the future but at this moment.
Order of that list is kinda weird.

It’s not like ESPN knows all that much about hockey players.
True, there's a reason I use Dom L's projection model for fantasy hockey rather than just going off the order that ESPN provides

Well the dream was fun while it lasted for the Wild to have a top 5-10 center
I'm not convinced he will be a top 5-10 center when and if he comes back from this surgery that was so mysteriously delayed.
Waiting to hear of the league rules the NHL won't enforce so this turns out to be a good move for Vegas.
I'm not convinced he will be a top 5-10 center when and if he comes back from this surgery that was so mysteriously delayed.
It was delayed because he wanted out of Buffalo.

And Buffalo management wouldn’t agree to the type of surgery he preferred (artificial disc replacement) instead of disc fusion surgery. The team had final say on this & LV is OK with the disc replacement surgery.

It was delayed because Buffalo wanted him to have a more common procedure in contrast to the one him and his doctor preferred.
Edit: What bearpaw said
It can be both, he clearly wanted out of Buffalo and this was one way to force their hand. If I remember correctly fusion is what Peyton Manning did and it had some serious risks involved. Also sounds like replacement is the better option anyhow from a mobility standpoint.
Either way I am still not convinced.
Cole Sillinger went straight from the USHL (non NTDP) to the Show. Not sure that has ever happened before or at least in 20+ years.
And now he's staying up with the big club. Wild.

Saddest part of Eichel/Sabres not doing this earlier is that he most likely won’t be healthy in time for the Olympics.
Cannot wait to see the Tkachuk tick off anyone that plays the US. Would be real fun to see them on a line together.
