The number of people on social media coming to the defense of Jason Kelce is disturbing. 99% are keyboard warriors. He crossed the line regardless. Regardless what the fan said and who it was about. You walk away. Especially someone one the level of Kelce. Smashing the phone and using the same derogatory word as the fan makes him no better. Actually makes him worse, he smashed phone. Kelce should have already been charged. If roles were reversed and a fan smashed Kelce’s phone. That fan would still be sitting in county.

@sunbone,

And I’m not defending the college student or students. Both parties could have made better choices.

I agree about using the same word. If I were Kelce, after smashing the phone, I'd have pulled out some cash and thrown it at the fan to buy a new one. The action is the message, you know?

Im pretty sure Kelce was under the influence. He boast about his drinking and he was carrying a case of beer.

Meh. I see the moron fan as a “keyboard warrior” that found out what happens in the real world, which is nice to see happen here and there. A typical “play stupid games, win stupid prizes” situation.

Throwing the slur back at him is the most disappointing thing to me here.

@karlsson

110% agree the student or students are keyboard warriors and blowhards. Though Kelce is a blowhard as well.

Has it been proven the student whose phone was broken was the one who dropped the derogatory word. There’s a lot going on I those short moments.

There are a couple videos, and I'm pretty sure Kelce broke the correct phone.

Mahomes comes up limping on a non-contact, clears med tent, but still has a hitch in his giddy-up. Uh oh......Switched to running game on the next drive.

Pretty obvious false start on the penultimate play, but my guess is they score anyway.

And the stupidest OT rules win out. I will die on this hill. NFL has the dumbest, most inane, ridiculous OT rules.
Argument: well, stop them!
My argument: well, if you score a TD first, you stop them from answering. Give them a chance.

Regular season OT rules are clearly flawed. That said, Tampa (with 30 seconds to go in 4th Qtr on road), should have gone for 2 and the likely win. The 50% chance of losing toss to Mahomes makes the risk of going for 2 & failing with 30 seconds to go the better option

Yeah, show some balls, so to speak. But I will not abandon my opinion on the NFL rules.

Agree, both teams should have an opportunity to score in OT, both in regular season & playoffs.

NFL officiating sucks, multiple games where facemask penalizes have not been called, the tv replay shows the penalties and teams can not challenge the calls

New England (2-7 going into the week), goes into Chicago and beats da Bears 19-3. Caleb Williams is sacked EIGHT times.

It's crazy to think that the Steelers have only had 3 head coached in their team history.

Seahawks: 7 (first year was 1976)

Cowboys: 8

Packers: 9

Broncos: 9

I saw a chart yesterday comparing Justin Fields and Williams in their first 7 games as the QB for the Bears. Fields had better numbers with less resources of better players.
I’ll stand on my comment I last year when Williams was at USC. Williams will make JaMarcus Russell and Ryan Leaf look like success stories.

Dallas has given up 201 points in their last 5 home games an average of over 40 points a game.

Playoff game vs. Green Bay lost 48-32

Week 2 vs. New Orleans lost 44-19

Week 3 vs. Baltimore lost 28-25

Week 6 vs. Detroit lost 47-9

Week 10 vs. Philadelphia lost 34-6

Dallas is now 2-7 (they had a week 7 bye)

How bout those Cowboys? 🤣

but most of their games this year have been on the road so far so they have that soft home field advantage coming up. 😂

Both teams 7-2, Detroit holds the tiebreaker on head-to-head matchup, so Vikings would still be in 2nd place.

The Houston Texan O line men caused a fumble trying to take the ball away from his QB who was getting sacked. Apparently the O line men had dreams of taking the ball and running for a 1st down. 🤣

Luckily he recovered the fumble he created. Does he get credit for a forced fumble? 😀

I was also confused about that. The lineman almost causing a fumble....that'd be a new one, in a way.

CJ Stroud is probably like "Hey you are an O linemen so quit trying to take the ball away from me." On replay you could see the QB was trying to hang on to the ball even through the O linemen was ripping it away from him.

Make sure to keep the ball high and tight so your own O linemen can't ripped it away. 🤣

And they definitely know which side the sun comes in so they don’t face it during the time of day it blinds the offense. Also would prefer to tear the stadium down instead of putting up curtains. (Jerry Jones had a quote about those two exact things after the game today)

San Francisco loses at home to Seattle and is now (5-5), 0-2 at home in the division, 1-3 in the division overall. They are in last place in the division based on tiebreakers.

Their next two games are at Green Bay (7-3) and at Buffalo (9-2). Buffalo will be coming off a bye so likely healthier than they were today when they beat Kansas City.

In the regular season

Josh Allen 4-1 vs. Patrick Mahomes

In the playoffs

Patrick Mahomes 3-0 vs. Josh Allen

Kansas City (1 loss), Buffalo (2 losses), and Pittsburgh (2 losses) are in the driver's seats to get the top three AFC seeds. The Chargers are the only AFC team with 3 losses and they are only a 1 point favorite tonight at home against Cincinnati who is 4-6 so clearly people aren't sold on the Chargers.

If either Kansas City or Buffalo gets the top seed if they meet up in the playoffs it will be the AFC Championship game unless one of them falls to the 4 seed.

NFC is DET or PHI after today's results.
I still stand by KC/BUF and then maybe PIT/BAL, and then dark horse LAC

Just once, once, would I like a BUF win against KC. Each time BUF lost to KC in the playoffs, I was CERTAIN they'd have moved on. But first it was NE, now it's KC. Goddammit, pardon my French.

The Charger defense going into this game had given up the fewest point in the NFL at 13 points per game.

Tonight they give up a 21 point second half lead (27-6 to 27-27) allowing TDs on three straight drives.

The constant looks of concern on the faces of McCarthy and Zimmer is pretty great. McCarthy should get canned just for letting his special teams coach talk him into wasting a TO.
