The Messi Michelob commercial on Miami Beach was very good. Great cameos from Marino and Sudeikis.
Flip side, the Temu app ads were brutal. Unwatchable.
Yeah, nothing like a website that sells fake merch or allows/encourages scam sellers to buy up several SB minutes! How many people will fall for that 🤬
Note: Due to inflation dirty deeds will no longer be done dirt cheap.
Temu is the online equivalent of factory items disappearing out the back door and being sold at street markets. Honestly I’m shocked they had the 🏈⚾️🎱⚽️s to buy multiple ads.

Halftime shows are getting worse and worse every Super Bowl.
This would be my halftime show… I’m sure someone like @bigbeer will either have to google or have some boomer tell them who it is… 😉
I saw them on the To Hell With The Devil tour in 1987. Sweet has a great voice live and they put on a good show if you can get past that every song has the same tired subject matter. Your assumptions are showing.
So I’ll sidetrack to the commercials, any favorites? I laughed at Arnold and the whole neighBA gag, very clever. The Dunkin Donuts was funny. Unlike the past, a lot fewer ads that left you scratching your head going what is this for? Two I thought were disappointing were the Clydesdale Bud ad, just underwhelming to me. And NO politics but good gravy the Kennedy for President was a big miss, a vintage looking hodgepodge of images that was more confusing then effective.
I agree the Dunkin' was the best. Being a fan of Suits, I liked the 2 that those actors were in. I usually like the E trade kids ones and that one wasn't as funny as in the past. The rest were forgettable that now will be played non stop for a couple of months.
I’m a big Walken fan and I thought his ad was great. I bet that’s a window into his daily life cause I know I would have trouble not saying “the only prescription is more cowbell” if I ever met him.
From what I hear, the artists get paid almost nothing for their performances, because the league knows they'll more than make up for it in sales and such.
When you tell somebody somethin', it depends on what part of the United States you're standin' in... as to just how dumb you are.
So we have (basically) LV, ATL, MN, and MAYBE CHI looking for QBs? I think CHI is waiting on MN (the Cousins to ATL rumor), which will be settled by Wednesday...

NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reports the Bengals traded Joe Mixon to the Texans.
It marks something of an about-face for the Bengals, who were widely expected to release Mixon, 27, after seven seasons with the team. Instead, they will deal the veteran to Houston, a running back-needy team that recently lost Devin Singletary to the Giants. Mixon should operate as Houston’s lead back over Dameon Pierce. Pierce is coming off one of the worst running back seasons in recent NFL history. Mixon managed over 1,400 total yards and a dozen touchdowns in 2023. It’s a quietly good spot for Mixon in an ascendant Texans offense.
Rumors are flying that Stefon Diggs may be headed to Dallas.... of course it is the annual "Diggs is being traded to x speculation" season. We will see...
I was recently informed by a GPLer that I'm related to Airey

Diggs and lamb on the same team? Unless Diggs is ok with the idea of lamb or anyone else in the spotlight more than himself for a change i don’t see it happening imo.
Steelers give up on Pickett and trade him to PHI. That means Wilson is the only QB on their roster and could be in the market for one at #20. The top 5 QBs could be off the board by the time the Vikings freshly acquired 23rd pick comes up.

Not from the Buffalo crowd on the Tweeter Machine, which has some holy sh* hard core team geeks on there. The biggest concern is who is WR2, since Gabe Davis (expectedly) was not re-signed. There is some debate on whether Shakir can be a WR2, or is he relegated to WR3...

Agreed, and then they'll figure out Shakir's place Personally, I think he can step up to be WR2, the kid showed some serious work ethic last year, and he has the talent.

I’m assuming the Vikings weren’t one of the teams showing interest in Joseph cause kicking indoors at US Bank versus outdoors in Green Bay would be a big reason why his stats are so good. I wonder if we’re eyeing someone in the draft.
