That pretty much put the nail in the coffin. The NFL is drooling over Swift being at the SB. How many Swifties would never watch are now going to watch.

This sounds like the kind of take that I would read about all over social media

Do you get your opinions off social media like @bigbeer does?!?!?!

@snowcool08

What would you do for love?!?!?!

If you’re asking Meatloaf, he won’t do that…

I just checked. Her last show is Saturday night in Tokyo. With the flights and time difference, she can easily make it back by Sunday morning. She will be there.

Kyle Hamilton the safety that a lot of Vikings fans are pissed about the Vikings not drafting gave up a TD earlier in the game and that long game clinching pass.

He had a good season but the Chiefs took advantage of him today.

Kelce 11 catches, 116 yards and a TD.

Hamilton couldn't even slow down Kelce.

Turnovers and penalties were the story of the game.

Both defenses played well.

Yeah the Lamar pick and Flowers TO were nails in the coffin. But also Reid just called a better game, Mahomes was in an easy rhythm from the start with swing passes and then throws some more difficult passes to Kelce which culminated in a TD. Lamar was just constantly under pressure with nobody open and when they finally did hit some big plays they turn it over.

That play call by Reid at the end was nice too, they put a lot of faith in MVS who’s known for his drops.

Weren’t Chief fans calling for Marquez Valdes-Scantling to be cut for dropping the ball earlier in the season? Now they are praising his name in the last 2 games.

The Chiefs O line did a better job of giving Mahomes time to throw than the Ravens O line did for Lamar.

I don't get the Taylor Swift hate.  It is not like she is in the TV booth selling her records or promoting her tour. It's just smart business for both the TV broadcast and the NFL to show one of the most popular people in the world at your game. Broadcasts do that all the time. How many times was Mayasich shown on TV during the FF? The NBA shows celebrities at courtside all the time. When Presidents show up at games, the same thing happens. People just have Bad Blood towards her and Just Need to Calm Down and Shake it Off.... 😎

Edit-- They just showed her on the field. That will trigger more hate...

Entertaining game.

Lamar and Flowers deserve a lot of criticism. Not a big fan of Kelce, but he delivered. Mahomes is other worldly.

Disappointing to see the Ravens perform so poorly, but also a really intelligent game…by the Chiefs. They got the lead and avoided doing anything to shoot themselves in the foot. Like clockwork

I don't get the Taylor Swift hate.

Neither do I, doesn’t make much sense to me. Quite frankly, I don’t understand the Brittany Mahomes hate either.

Jackson Mahomes is the one that should get all the hate/criticism.

Saw recently a post somewhere (didn’t read the full article) that Buck said he went to far on his reaction to Moss’ TD in Green Bay back in ‘98.

In 6 seasons as the Chiefs starting QB Mahomes has now made it to 4 Super Bowls.

In 21 seasons as the New England/Tampa Bay starting QB Brady made it to 10 Super Bowls.

I didn't count the season Brady suffered a season ending injury in the first game of the season.

Yes he is less than half the way to Brady but it is getting to the point where it is hard to bet against Mahomes going to the Super Bowl. This season their offense struggled in the regular season. They were middle of the pack in scoring - 15th (out of 32) most points but they've found enough offense in the playoffs scoring 26, 27, and 17 and now he has the best defense he has had in his career.

So much for Mahomes not having to go on the road in the playoffs.

A decade from now we could be talking about Mahomes getting close to Brady.

The Chiefs O line did a better job of giving Mahomes time to throw than the Ravens O line did for Lamar.

Ravens line gave Lamar plenty of time. Chiefs defensive back field played lights out on Baltimore receivers. And Raven d line put more pressure on Mahomes, especially on the right side than KC did to Jackson.

He was asked about the call that he most regrets. He said it was easily the Moss call at GB. And ironically, he said his favorite call was the Minneapolis Miracle.

Obviously the Lions could still end up getting blown out but for people who said/thought that this game might be too big for them at least on the first drive that definitely wasn't the case.

Announcers in many sports do this like in hockey when they say the next goal is huge when it is a one goal game in the 3rd period. Wait so it is a huge difference between a two goal game and a tie game in the 3rd period? 🤔 No $hit Sherlock. 😀

Okay,  but what do fans want that announcer in this scenario to say instead?

The problem with people whining about announcers "saying the obvious" is just about everything's already said. Find me an announcer that's most often original and I'll call b.s.

It's why I no longer listen to sports interviews if I can avoid them - because they're rarely original and mostly full of tired cliches.

Theres plenty of color guys like Greg Olsen that are very helpful and informative. Romo used to be one of them.

And Greg Olsen is very good as well. They both know their stuff and see things happen instantly or before it happens that 99.9% of the people watching don’t. They both have different personalities that fit for them calling the game. I just don’t scroll social media to see what some armchair warrior is posting on social media.

Yeah I'm not saying there aren't "better announcers" but imho lack of originality is a poor measuring stick because just about everything there is to say has already been said ad nauseum.

btw I hope if the Lions win this game they are the home team because their road uniforms are awful.

Two missed 4th downs while in field goal range for the Lions both in the 2nd half. If they end up losing by 3 points the post game press conference could be interesting - Dan Campbell's response to the questions he gets.
