Dumba not holding back tonight. What was he signaling to Marchment at the end of the 1st? Was it meet me back here ?
Sweet goal
Hoo boy made Miller look stupid there
Of course they give it right back to their fourth line.
3-1 let's go
Wow. A no-goal before review, and they see that the stick was at cross-bar level, so a good goal.
B1G refs... corrupt, or just incompetent?
Nyquist with another point. A pretty good acquisition by the GM

Nyquist has been HUGE for Wild! Nice move to burn Stars D & finish by JoJo too. Now got to get KK & Boldy going. Faber started play on Zuc goal ?Nyquist with another point. A pretty good acquisition by the GM
Moose is having a very good game.

1) Love that Suter is booed every time he has the puck!
2) is it crossbar then in NHL? Also, is it the angle of the stick overall, or where the puck impacts the stick (ie can the stick angle up but the puck contacts below crossbar level?)
TIA.
It's the crossbar for a goal. It's where the puck hits the stick. IMO- the Foligno goal was a high stick and should not have counted1) Love that Suter is booed every time he has the puck!

We need this Zuc.
Wow. I thought Zuccy was as horrible in the first two but he is playing well tonight. It is not just the goals either; he has been much more on the puck and engaged in the play.

Only one Max Domi ass whooping away from a great night

He's been the invisible puke tonight.

Brock Faber looks like a 10 year vet out there...so cool to see!

The coach agrees. (Shared this in the former players thread as well)

The announcers couldn't talk him up nos than they did either!
And to think this was him last year:
And two weeks ago he was in college playing for a chance at a title!
The Vikings tight ends were in front of us and indeed took pics and bought drinks for people all night. TJ even shared some fries with an older lady.
Whatever the boys did at Zuccarello House last night worked! Slump busted
Poor JEE.
The Stars have some unintentionally hilarious Twitter accounts covering the team run by hockey illiterates that approach the platform like it's contact sport. ? Joe Smith, Alex Mich and Russo are also completely in their heads without even trying.
Sounds like a player that gets it.
Well...he's from Iowa. Not only played at Iowa but was born and raised there. I think TJ listened to former pros like Greenway or Dallas Clark on how to conduct themselves as a pro on and off the field.
I am the official Iowa Hawkeye football fan of GPL!
The Faber and a 1st for Fiala trade looks pretty good as of now. Another brilliant move by Guerin. ?

Yeah he is from Iowa...which means he is just happy to be out of there! Plus being able to be in the vicinity of so many people and not worry about being swallowed up inside of their gravity probably helps.
Iowa: Like Wisconsin without the scenery and at 3 times the cholesterol!
Moose was living rent free in the stars' heads tonight.
I think Domi tried to be that guy for the Stars but failed terribly. If Foligno is a junkyard dog, Domi was nothing more than a Chihuahua, snapping quickly and harmlessly before running back to safety. Just another little cheap shot artist.
Wild completely neutralized Hintz, Benn, and Robertson.
Gotta say I admire their grit. Even the smaller guys aren't backing down. They're getting run, but they aren't running.
Huge game Sunday.
I would like to see Moose go a round with Little Ty. Foligno was a beast last night and will give the Wild a much better chance of advancing if that continues. Such a shame JEEK wasn’t able to join them. It isn’t sounding good on that front.
And now for the daily Faber appreciation post: he just keeps looking like he belongs. So calm and steady and his skating is smooooth. I wanted Reavo to pound Marchment when he tried putting Brock over the boards.
Moose gets an embellishment which I’m still trying to understand what he’s doing there. It to me looked like he was purposely mocking Dallas with his acting job that got him the 2 minutes. He obviously was doing the dive signal after the call but was his fall an intent to mock or bad acting on his part? Either way it was fun with the score what it was and the game really all wild anyway but in a tighter game maybe not so much? It was a little weird but he was out to prove himself all night so I loved the attitude.
Foligno is a little weird.
I don’t think he was just mocking Dallas, he was also trolling the officials for not calling it. So of course, then they do. ?
Because nothing came of it, I found it pretty funny.

My wild assumption is the lack of development for higher-end scoring prospects.
Can't develop what isn't there. Beckman and Rossi are really the only two guys he's had in Iowa that might be expected to develop into NHL players.https://twitter.com/russohockey/status/1649844110675542019?s=46&t=TSh76GhubEQP295Dcl77vA

5 years is probably a pretty long run for an AHL coach.
Nate Dicasmirro? I remember when he played at SCCC...no wonder they needed a change 😉
And I remember watching Nate’s Dad (Bob) play for UWS during the 1970’s.Nate Dicasmirro? I remember when he played at SCCC...no wonder they needed a change 😉
Joe smiths new feature on Faber and “the ducks” was very good, recapping his first few weeks
Whoever is doing the “let’s play hockey “ tomorrow has a tough act to follow, Mason Shaw was a perfect choice. If that doesn’t fire you up you’re not human. Can’t wait for tomorrow ?
Per LaVell’s column today Byron Buxton and Carlos Carrrea will be kicking things off this afternoon.
Personally I would have the Vikings’ tight ends up there They would be epic!
