I could feel Boldy's legs burning as he soldiered down the ice to get the GWG.

That was hilarious. Refs really swallowed the whistles, Boldy was lucky to be on the ice.
Yeah after they called the penalty on Dumba with like 3 minutes left they decided there would be no more of that. Wild got away with at least two blatant penalties and the Devils at least 1. Both teams had great chances in the last minute of OT including Boldy like 20 seconds before the winner.
I hope I eat these words, but I cannot wait for the day Dumba is not on this team anymore. There is no one I want to see shoot the puck less than him. He either misses the net completely, fans on it or loses it.
Luckily every Devil on the ice was just as tired as he was and could not catch him.
Boldy has been wicked good the last several games, owning almost every shift he has taken.

I didn't watch the game but saw a replay of the OT goal. First thing - sure looked like there were a lot of away sweaters in the crowd - at least in the rows withing view.
That was as serendipitous rebound to Boldy after NJ hit the pipe.
And if you didn't notice it the first time watch how freaking quickly he brought the puck from his forward to his backhand and got the shot off. Amazing skill.
Wild do not take over first in the division thanks to Benn scoring to tie their game with Seattle with 0.7 seconds remaining in Dallas. One of the more obvious cross checks you’ll see set it up.
I know Paul Allen does not know to much regarding hockey, he said this morning that Kaprizov is back home in Russia recovering, this would be outrageous

Easily forgotten with Boldy’s performance is Fleury’s. He’s the reason the Wild eventually had the opportunity to pull away. Shots were 24-9 Seattle at one point in the second.

For those of you more in tuned to the Wild than I am:
If KK does return this season, what do the Wild need to do lineup wise to avoid returning to what seemed to be a lower scoring team? The Wild have averaged 3.76 goals in March (13 games) vs. 2.93 for the season.
Before anyone flips their lid I'm not putting this on KK nor suggesting they're better off without him.

Trade him!
Kidding. I would hope KK would just add to their scoring but I'll be honest I haven't been paying super close attention to the line combos during this streak with KK gone.
His timetable was 3-4 weeks, so far it sounds like the 4 weeks is still the goal.
clearly some additional guys have picked up confidence while he’s out- they need to keep that up. They are getting solid goaltending and we just need Brodin to stay healthy.
It’s incredible to think the wild are doing this with 12m in dead cap space. I know the west is weaker right now but geez.

they've been getting outplayed pretty regularly since Kaprizov went out. It's just nobody cares when everything you shoot goes in. I would guess that they're probably giving up 40 shots a game since 97 got hurt.
A month ago they were dominating teams but couldn't seem to score more than 2 goals a game. Now they're scoring 4-5 every game on like 20 shots. Add in the fact that Fleury has been good for a while now and Gustavsson has been unbelievable all year.

Since KK got hurt they have improved quite a bit winning games, how can you say they are getting outplayed?
High referee called that penalty on the Avs... Looking at the initial replay, I sure wouldn't be happy if they called that on the Wild.
Evened it up with an even worse call.
And then they "ask the expert" and a former NHL referee proves that he has zero understanding of the sport of hockey. Yikes
I hated that explanation; "He knew what he was doing"
Yeah, standing stationary in the position he established. Unless the attacker skates around him and uses him as a stationary pick I have no idea how that is interference.

Sad part is that's a blatant interference penalty on Cogliano. You're not allowed to skate through people
