I don’t think he’s ‘stuck in Russia’ so much as he (like many other European players) right now doesn’t have the necessary visa?:

Sounds like he just arrived in the US today, NY and will be in MN Tuesday.
Whew!
Did he turn into a vampire while over there?
Interesting to see the Wild show up at No. 4 in this ranking of contract efficiency.
"he way that’s measured comes from comparing a player’s GSVA and the expected salary that comes with it to a player’s current contract. Surplus value compares what they make with what the model believes they should be making, while positive value probability measures the certainty that a player will perform above his cap hit."
Worst contracts are Duhaime C+ for an $800k contract when he's got negative $600k value, Jost C+ for a $2M contact when he's got a -$1.4 value and Dumba C+ for a $6M contract that has a negative $400k value. Bright side is all those deals come off the books next year.

The Wild signed Sammy Walker.
Still think if he simplifies his game and gets some heavy defensive coaching he’s an NHL player
He’s got speed you can’t teach

Loads of speed. He doesn't seem to always use it. His scoring stats are flat for 4 years at D1. 26 points as a freshman and 27 points as a senior. I don't understand why the game didn't slow down for him.
Obviously hoping he figures it out because that won't fly in the AHL.
Minnesota leads with the Rangers and Penguins with 15 nationally televised games this season. Donut for a Montreal.
