Justin Jefferson is just 24 years old and now has more career receiving yards than any Chicago Bears receiver in the team's history. All 100+ years of it.

Kirk 31/44 for 364 and 4 TDs in primetime on the road. Should have been 34/44 if Kadarius Osborne used his hands on a couple passes too.

And some will still try to spin the loss in him.
If anything these past 2 games show how Cousins and JJ carried the team last year.
I thought I saw somewhere that teams that go 0-2 have a 9% chance on making the playoffs. I do believe that the Vikings were one of the most recent teams to do it though.
The o line is a train wreck and Flores defense is not living up to expectations.
Listening to Vikings vent line after a loss is pure gold.

Kirk is FAR from the problem, 7 turnovers in 2 games, not going to win. And when your #1 & #2 draft picks from 2022 aren’t even hitting the field, it’s a bad sign. Combined with a 1st place schedule & they’ll be lucky winning 9 games.Kirk 31/44 for 364 and 4 TDs in primetime on the road. I see the remainder of the year being 10-5 or 9-6. The key is to keep pace in the North. Chicago is garbage. Green Bay is a wild card of team. And the Lions look to be the top contender. If they can go 5-1 or at worse 4-2 in the North, they "should" be fine.

I actually think the Flores defense is doing ok. They just don’t have the bodies on the line. Ideally you want 7-8 guys you can rotate throughout the game. Philly did that last night. We have 3-4. There was a reason we were getting run on last night. We had 3 down lineman most plays. Don’t have enough bodies to put 4 out there consistently.
I'm hoping this week the Vikings have drills to prevent fumbling. They have a tough schedule, but without all of these turnovers, they could be decent this year.

For the NFC Black'n'Blue division:
Kirk Cousins 708 yards, 6 TD, 1 INT, 114.2 Rating
Jared Goff 576 yards, 4 TD, 1 INT, 109 Rating
Jordan Love 396 yards, 6 TD, 0 INT, 118.8 Rating
Justin Fields 427 yards, 2 TD, 3 INT, 70.7 Rating

Amazingly even after their poor start, the Vikes are just a game back from DET and GB.

CIN started 0-2 last year (and again this year) and look what happened.

Vikes sign O lineman Dalton Risner yesterday and trade for a running back today.

I also think they may be the only team to never have a QB pass for 4000 yards in a season. I am not certain they are the only one, but yeah.. not impressive.

Honestly....sounds right.
They are also the only team to not win a game since Elon bought Twitter. 😉

Because I'm a glutton for punishment this weekend....Skol! I guess.

So far this is not going as I planned. You know you can pee touchdowns too…. Get busy folks! ??
Did the Vikings just go a whole quarter without attempting to pass to a WR?
Can someone get Mattison bigger hands please?

Vikings got a couple of nice "calls" from the refs during the 1st half.

Secondary is trash. Again. Still?
Evans will dream about that for a while.
San Diego coach?!
Thank you for the opportunity…if review holds.

Already looking at the 2024 mock drafts and it's still September.
Spike the ball you fucking idiots. And I thought they had some bad coaches in the past
Have to believe someone would come up with a better play if they had run up and spiked the ball instead of wasting 15 seconds and doing whatever the hell that was.
Chargers coach hands KOC a perfect opportunity to steal the game & he doesn’t have them spike then ball on 1st down with 20 seconds left. The bloom has quickly come off the rose for KOC & KAM regime, 4 straight losses
All the pixie dust from the 2022 regular season is long gone now. Cousins could have spiked the ball himself; he didn't need to get permission. That said, KOC is looking like he can't find his ass with both hands and a lantern. Might as well keep the losses coming at this point, although I have no faith this organization would utilize a high draft pick properly.
0-3 teams have less than a 3% chance to make the playoffs going back to 1990.

Thankfully we have Gophers hockey to watch in 2 more weeks.
I can't decide which was more disgusting: The Vikings last play, or the Gophers punt that they let roll into the end zone?

I saw a headline that the crowd noise caused the miscommunication between the coach and Cousins on the last play. If true, Cousins should take responsibility and be thinking of what to do next. He shouldn't have to be told to clock the ball or wait for the play from the coach. Mahomes in that spot would realize he can't hear the coach and take over. Another notch against Cousins for those intangibles.
Also, I bet the crowd was really buzzing at that moment. In my experience with Gopher games, when there's a critical spot on offense, the crowd starts making noise. Gophers going for it on 4th down, fans stand up and start to cheer. It's super weird. That's the time you're supposed to be quiet. I guarantee the drunk Vikings fans were all up in a tizzy for getting a first down and caused the communication issues.
3.5 hours per week x 14 weeks. This guy got nearly 50 hours opened up this fall. Thanks for tanking early this year Vikes!

According to John Shipley:
"The Vikings, in fact, had two chances to score the go-ahead touchdown in the game’s closing 6 minutes, with 15 snaps (!) inside the Chargers’ 25-yard line, and four inside the 5."
So I'll take the Vikings performance, sort of like the lifetime achievement award

The fact that me, a casual fan who played little football, was yelling clock it repeatedly, and an NFL QB needs to be told to do that is a super weird.. It's like dude.. you obviously have a brain too and did stuff like this all year in 2022. This stuff should just be instinctive at this point since you practice 2 minute drills every single week.

It's always easy for fans to say what should have happened after the fact. If Cousin would've connected that pass to Hockenson, everyone who was saying spike the ball, would be praising Cousins. Hockenson should've caught it. The ball hit him in the hands and he's being paid very handsomely to catch balls and make plays.
