Classic bend don’t break right there.
That’s a sweet 14 point swing with the turnover and TD. 24-0 much better than 17-7.
Holy interception!

Ibrahim hits the century mark for the 13th game in a row.
As a Gophers football fan of nearly 50 years I'm not sure how to handle these feelings right now. ?
I was not expecting 31-donut
Morgan has as many TDs as incompletions. Too bad he sucks can't wait to have a real QB.

Proceed with caution.
I was with family for a bbq and then we went to church. I just pulled the score up leaving church… I have no words, but WoW!!!
Going to have to get home and do some reading.
Keep your stick on the ice...

Waiting for him to post that MSU is a cupcake. Probably Tanner’s best game as a Gopher. He was outstanding today. Loved the offensive game plan today. They obviously didn’t expect us to throw as much as we did early and Tanner made them pay. Great road win! ?
Big Ten road wins are to be celebrated (no matter the opponent) but Big Ten road DOMINATIONS are completely different. This is the type of stuff people do at our stadium not vice versa! I don't know what will happen going forward but this team does not seem to let anything phase them at all. Their confidence factor is a friggin 10.
I'm 50% factual and 50% sarcastic. When you get to know me, you will know which is which.
Not bad for our worst offensive player...
This is just fun to look at:

And he ran for 2 or 3 first downs. And how many different receivers caught balls today? 10, I think. Impressive performance by our worst offensive player! ?
When was the last time the Gophers had a road win in such a dominating fashion and vs. a legitimate BIG opponent.
Keep your stick on the ice...
This is just fun to look at:
I love that the Gophers had 240 rushing yards, and even with that 75 yard drive at the end of the game, MSU only managed to tie that in total yardage.
That really just shows how completely the Gophers controlled every aspect of the game today.
B1G refs... corrupt, or just incompetent?

There was the Michigan game when Kill smoked them and we literally knocked their QB silly...other than that I am not even sure.
After 1 quarter MSU had 1 yard...the Gophers had 2 TDs. The stats were so lopsided it was like playing Madden on Rookie.

MN got completely hosed early on a hands to the face call which cost a first down. Many previous Gopher teams probably would have folded there. This team shrugs its shoulders and gets a 1st down on the next play (or two?) and (I think) scores later on the drive.

That. Was. Awesome!
Wow.

As I recall, it was like 3 yards rushing and -2 passing, something like that?

A lot less worried about Purdue after seeing them struggle to beat Florida Atlantic
I honestly never worry about Purdue...Fleck lives rent free in Brohm's head.
(not guaranteeing a win just saying Purdue is nothing special)
Obviously the next task is handling Purdue. After that hopefully happens, please please please finally beat Bielema.
ROW THE BOAT. SKI-U-MAH. GO GOPHERS.
The Gophers have yet to be behind in a game. Whenever that eventually happens that might be their first real test of the season.
Tony Dungy chimes in.

Interesting how much Tony talks about the Gophers now. For years he was mostly mum about them. Very cool
I just checked and this stat is real:
Tanner Morgan has 7 TDs...and a TOTAL of 18 incompletions through 4 games.
@handyman Seems he likes what he sees in this program. It's hard not to like this team's on and off the field attitude.

I guess so. I just remember a lot of fans lamenting he never wore Gopher gear or seemed to publicly talk about being a Gopher and now seems to make a point of it. He and Fleck must have a pretty decent relationship.
Orion may be correct that maybe PJ reaches out to the alumni more that the previous coaches. I just don't see Tony as someone who is a front runner and it is nice to have a high profile guy pushing the program. This goes for all Gopher sports.

Gophers open at -10 vs. Purdue. Pretty much were I thought they would open at.
Keep your stick on the ice...
Gophers #21 in the AP and #23 in the Coach’s.

17 writers still didn’t have the Gophers in their rankings. Many from the midwest greater Chicago through Michigan. Still seems to be a bias against the B1G west even when they beat the east.
No biggie. I like being underestimated.
@jwg It will work itself out in the end. Just keep winning and we can't be ignored.

That can’t be. Tanner sucks.

Yep. No one is really going to give us a ton of respect until we actually win the West. We've been here before and need to keep the foot on the pedal this season.
The real screw job will be if we run the table in the West and lose to an undefeated OSU in the championship game. If Michigan's only lose is to OSU and they come it at #5-6 in the playoff rankings who goes to the Rose Bowl?

Let's not get ahead of ourselves. In this unlikely tie scenario, I believe the Gophers go to the Rose bowl since Michigan had played in it more recently. That said, I don't know with the playoffs system how they handle the Rose Bowl game.

The Big Ten champion goes to the Rose Bowl. If that team gets selected as one of the four teams to play for the championship the Rose bowl then gets first choice for the replacement. A decision between a one loss Michigan team and a one lose Minnesota team will not go our way given how weak the West division is this year.

I looked it up.
