I see your point, and not to defend either of Harvard's depts, I worked in a large University and to think that one Dept is in touch with another Dept position, or agrees with it, is not how it works. In addition, academic papers do not set policy for these hedge funds…er, universities.While the Harvard Sociology Department is cranking out white papers on gender equity, diversity and inclusion, their hockey team is in violation of its own policy?

I merely appreciate the contradiction.
It's not uncommon in any organization that a worker in one cubicle might undermind the work of his neighbor, but it's not like this stuff isn't in the open. Large universities publish policies on this subject, holding them up like trophies. Apparently, the hockey department doesn't read them, and the AD probably couldn't find his way to the rink.

Kind of but not really.
When Yale played the Gophers earlier in the year they could not skate with the Gophers. Gophers lost 4-2 but that was due to bad defensive play when Yale scored 4 first period goals. But Yale was a good defensive team that won a lot of games!

It is as the universe intended. For the 7th time in the last 11 NCAA Tournaments the Gophers and the Badgers will play and will end one or another's season.
The WCHA continuing to show their dominance. Both the WCHA and the ECAC got four teams into the NCAA tournament and since Colgate and Yale finished Pairwise at #3 and #4 some people thought they were starting to get on an even playing field with the WCHA.
The ECAC went 0-4 in the NCAA tournament.
The WCHA is 5-1 with the only lose being Duluth to the Gophers. One of them had to lose.
The WCHA went 3-0 vs. the ECAC.
The Gophers went 5-0 against Duluth this year and end their season. Not bad. ?

The best part was a couple days after that post/statement was made the Gophers beat the #1 team and moved to #1 in Pairwise.
