The penalty at :21 second was called 2 minutes for contact to the head. I thought contact to the head was automatically 5 minutes. ?

20 minutes down, 40 to go. Other then that scramble with a couple minutes to go Q did not muster anything.
Coach is playing the 4th line in a ground and pound strategy of willing to dump it in (due to the Q's 1-3-1) and forecheck deep in their zone.
This likely means a low scoring game but with the lead I am totally cool with that.
If we have the lead in the 3rd period then Q will have to change up their strategy, then you catch them and break the game open.
4th line is earning a regular shift

Gophs clearly better through 20. If the rest of the game plays like this we will break it open. Perets has been solid. Our d zone breakout has been by far the key. Bob has them playing the lock it up at the back/be sure style and this team has shown they can win this way

Going into the game I beat Q loved having these refs since it plays into their strategy of making it an ugly game.

It looks like the Q has not been playing their 4th line as much as we have. Hopefully our top lines are fresher in the 3rd period.

Yep when refs don't call inference it helps teams like Q, Mankato, St. Cloud and hurts teams like the Gophers hence my comment that Q likes having refs that will shallow the whistle and let them play their game.
