an absolute ass kicking so far. Duluth has started resorting to running. On pace to have shots be about 80-15 and that is absolutely representative of the play

It's not often you say the goalie is playing well when he has given up three goals in less than a period but the score could be even worse for the Bulldogs he has made multiple really good saves.

duluth looks very young tonight. Guys clearly not used to the lack of pace and how quickly you’ve gotta move the puck. Gophs gave smothered them. Better days ahead but hopefully not this weekend but this is what happens when you have a huge freshman class and some seniors who are not your best players

Dogs are going to need to do something different if they want to turn it into a game. I have always had a soft spot for the Dogs but not when we play them. They can win next week.

@gopheritall they’d need to play tight checking and trap but now that they’re down 4, that’s just building for tomorrow night. Probably what I’d do if I’m sandelin as trying to go chance for chance with this gopher team is going to end poorly for Duluth. They’re trying to forecheck 2 guys right now and our defense are just tic tac toeing it out of the zone every time

I’ve really liked the look of the Moore zeimer Hendrickson line as well. Tons of speed. Would be tough to keep them together against some teams with size but they’re blazing by the Duluth skaters right now.
