All four lines are changed. My initial thoughts on the new lines.
Moore going from centering Hendrickson and Ziemer (two freshmen) to playing left wing with more experienced players Wood (a junior) and Clark (a sophomore) likely helps Ollie/Oliver.
Huglen going from centering Nevers and the 12th forward (Falloon or Johnny Mitts) to centering Kurth and Lamb puts him in a position to be a bigger factor.
I am looking forward to seeing how Ziemer does with Pahlsson and Snuggy. Since Lamb is no longer on that line it is now Snuggy playing with two freshmen.
The Nevers, Hendrickson, Johnny Mitts line probably wouldn't score much but I think can be very effective playing a solid not fancy style. Hendrickson will develop into more over his Gopher career but this isn't a bad place for him now.
Hard fought win! I was listening to the radio during second intermission. Wally mentioned that Hastings appeared to be staring down the Gophers leaving the ice. Was there anything to that?
Bob just said on the post game “unfortunately we’re going to lose Pahlsson for awhile”. ☹️
Yeah that sucks.
On positive side he also said we might get two guys back next weekend.
Our next series is non conference so even if Thomas and Fallon both can't make it back for the Thursday/Saturday home and away series against the Beavers I like our chances to have them back for our next Big Ten series based on what coach said.
Earlier in my life my girl friend at the time dyed her hair red (she was/is a Gopher fan) the first time she showed me her new hair color. I said "Better Dead than Red" she looked at me and I could see the wheels turning in her head trying to figure out how she wanted to response to this. She finally just gave me a funny look and laughed. True Story.
How ever long he is out it likely means Moore goes back to center replacing Pahlsson with Hendrickson, Nevers or Falloon (if he is back) moving up to one of the top 3 lines with other two staying on the 4th line with Johnny Mitts.

would envision its the players slapping the glass at their student section celebrating after the GWG

Pat brought this up at the end of the 2nd period way before the game winning goal. It was Pat who had more of a problem with Hastings. Pat was wondering what was going on and he didn't like it. Wally did join the conversation but it was Pat who first brought it up.

A gpl ism?😂 my son asked me last night who we’re playing. Wisconsin doesn’t even enter my head. “The evil red menace to the east” he thinks a few seconds and it entered.😂
