Mariucci probably switched out their ice enough it's not a problem. Though I remember hearing about when they up graded the BIG in Blm. The permafrost was fairly deep, it took more then they expected for the ground to thaw.

My sister in law graduated from CLA in the late 80s and graduation was held at William's Arena. MN was still on the quarter system so graduation was in mid June and it was HOT that day and even worse inside William's. Once they started calling names we could see where she was seated and it was obvious her stage-walk was at least 30-45 minutes away so of course we went to Stubs to cool down.
She was mad at us, not for leaving but for not sneaking something back for her!

They will get their graduation at another building. Mariucci is not that special when it comes to graduations it is just a building.

Assuming you're referring to the Academic All-B1G, students have to have been enrolled for a minimum of 12 months. Thus, freshmen aren't eligible.

Someone on Facebook asked the question if they were cutting it in smaller chunks and selling it to fans. I like that idea and would pay for a chunk
They've covered the seats but not the banners. Hope they have a broom with a very long handle to knock the dust off the banners. Maybe they will use the occasion to hang new, thinner banners to make room for a few more.
