I posted this same thing as a joke against Michigan State two weeks ago when Nelson, Johnny Mitts, and Huglen scored the Gophers first three goals. Cooley scored twice in the 3rd period. Hopefully this repeats itself again tonight with the top line scoring in the 3rd.
Minnesota had the jitters for almost half the game. Lost count of the whiffs and flailing sticks.

The refs are not calling obstruction penalties, which of course helps Canisius. This was supposed to be easy, but honestly this game could go either way.. hard to fathom, but the team with nothing to lose believes they can win, and they have the goalie for it.
No but they’re the reason the penalty diff is 3-1 despite them normally being the most penalized teams in the league. And two penalties were relatively soft compared to some of what the opp has gotten away with.If the Gophers were playing well, nobody would care about the officials. But because the Gophers are playing pretty poorly, let's blame the officials.
