Any video of the Penn player stabbing his broken stick into the ice at the end of the game?  I saw the stick break but was then too busy watching the Gophers celly with Closer.

Note: Due to inflation dirty deeds will no longer be done dirt cheap.

@kelly-red

No video but thanks for reminding me about that. Pretty funny and perfectly sums up their weekend.

it wasn’t on camera on the game we recorded but I missed it live too.

I thought Axel Begley was really solid. Hope Thomas is ok tho

I agree, made smart decisions with & without the puck.

Watching Clark in person really makes me appreciate his game, does so many things quietly well.

He's a top 6 forward next year

Top 6 no but he’s gonna take a huge Lamb-like jump in production. He’s such a smart hockey player.

I don't think he is a top 6 regular, but he is a player that can definitely fill in on the top 6 when there are injuries.

This season through 30 games we have 7 losses (18-7-5)

This gave me an idea. I pulled up the replay on B1G+ and lo and behold, L. Mitts pointing at the scoreboard was on the broadcast. 😂

What was Bob so mad about right after that happened? Was he mad that LM got slashed or was he annoyed that he pointed to the scoreboard or something else?

Not sure. I could see him being irritated his guy is taunting, but in that scenario it made complete sense. Maybe he was barking at the officials to separate them and get the guy to them box so it wouldn’t escalate further.

Are you talking about the guy who had just broken his stick on a dump-in attempt?  If so, I'll upload my video when I get a chance.

There were definitely fewer students at the game on Saturday because there were some empty seats in that section and there was little overflow into our section.

I'm almost certain Bob didn't like the "look at the scoreboard" taunt.

@kelly-red

Here's a trim and crop of what I have.  Sorry the stanchion got in the way.  The full video is on my Facebook.

I did not see a shutout weekend coming, especially against a team that has a reputation of throwing the kitchen sink on net.  Some of it was because PSU had trouble executing, but a lot of it was Close.  He definitely earned another star of the week.

Our guys responded well after last weekend's non-goals and things seem to be coming together at the right time as the end of the regular season approaches.

I definitely owe you all an apology.  I am deeply sorry I did not attend either game as a season ticket holder.  I will do my best to do better next time.

Please accept my humble apology.

(...but really, one of the reasons I am a season ticket holder EVEN THOUGH I know for a fact BEFORE the season even starts that I WON'T be at all the games is because it's a lock on first dibs for all games for the seats I want for a small premium, then I sell the rest, or at least can give a second thought to attending a game I wasn't planning on going to; it's the same reason I buy a parking pass--because I don't have to worry about whether or not I'll be able to go to the game...  Sometimes I'm sick and can't go, sometimes I am busy and have other plans, and sometimes, you know what, I just don't want to leave the house because it's also fun to sit at home with a big TV and not go anywhere, drink a beer, then go right to bed)

Bottom line you are supporting the team by buying tickets and by going when you can/want to.

Was that the first or second game this weekend?
