I was just going to say the same thing. Really need him and Huglen to start clicking and to be consistently contributing to the scoring. One thing I was happy with on Saturday was our goal scorers. While the first line had a tougher night than Friday, it was good to see Huglen, Brodzinski, and Nevers back amongst the goals.
Last series was the first series since Penn State back in the first week of November that Cooley didn’t score a goal

My brother-in-law, oldest son and I have been doing the state fair deals for quite a few years now. This year was the Lindenwood weekend, Penn State (I think, old man moment) weekend and this coming one. Lindenwood was ten bucks a game and the two Big Ten schools were fifteen a game.

It seems when the Gophers have been #1 in the USCHO poll, they have lost the next week or soon after. I'm fine with #2 in that poll
Polls at best are a gauge of "who's playing hot right now and who's not". Since the start of the calendar year we've had a shutout win, a shutout loss, and a mixed bag of OT games, so I wouldn't put us at #1 even if 4 of those games were against SCSU and Michigan.
Speaking of calendars, Happy Lunar New Year! It's the Year of the Rabbit/Cat depending on which zodiac you look at.
Look ahead to this week, can't overlook MSU. They're currently #13 in the PWR and just took 5 points from PSU (#3 in the PWR) before their bye, so even though we beat them up in East Lansing early last month, points probably won't come anywhere near as easily this weekend, especially when we've been playing so many close games since Christmas.

Truer words. Ryan flies so far under the radar and he's probably the least heralded player on the team. Love his game. Kind of KIND of reminds me of Holl before the latter was tasked with more.

I am hoping to see more sustained in-zone pressure this weekend. The Gophers really ramped it up against Michigan Friday night in the 3rd period, and it felt like most of the period was spent in their zone.
Lets keep this train rolling and hold onto the #1 pairwise ranking.
