A lot of punk. One of the standouts is "We'd Have A Riot Doing Heroin" by The Queers. They refined their sound to be more Ramones-like in their later years, and they are the awesome.

Celebrity Skin by Hole came up by random in the car yesterday and I forgot how good it was overall and that she wasn't just living off Kurt's fame. I think I repeated Boys on the Radio 5x at least. Slow build to the chorus than all the harmonies!

I've kinda known that Sia was a great singer, but after finding this yesterday (from the pre-covering her face days), all I have to say is "goosebumps".
BTW...Slap Shot...can you change those to links instead of embedded videos? I think people want to prevent this thread from getting bogged down like the last one.
I will no problem, but I thought the complaint was embed caused more problems than hiding? I personally see no issues in this thread since the hide feature was put into use.

I *think* that even though it's hidden, it takes more time to load up the embedded whatever.

Every post I've seen has been links...not hidden. Your videos are still embedded even though they're hidden. That's why the initial post in this new thread said "links only".
Been on a Godsmack kick today. They've been around forever, but IMO never reached the superstar status that they are deserving of. I'm not talking GNR/etc status, but they are in that lower part of that designation.

Can never tire of this. Ever. So awesome and beautiful, although I am far from a fan of the genre. This one...this one is legend.

I've been listening to more opera...don't know much about it but trying to learn.LOL. Yes, Looney Toons got me into this particular song. I fully admit it. But I mean, Pavarotti.....JFC. What a voice. I totally rocked out to it. As for opera itself? No thank you. There are just certain arias (yes, I know that word, thanks to crosswords ) that are so awesome.

I realize it's not for everyone, but with most operas there are many spots with adagio and andante tempo. If you don't give it full time you'll miss quite a bit.

I will admit, I shunned opera out of ignorance in my youth. Now, I can appreciate the talent involved, no doubt. It's incredible vocal range/output. It's just not my style.

It's not really my style either in the same vein that most jazz, country and rap are not my style. However, there is a ton of hip hop that I really enjoy (Lupe, Atomsphere, Aesop Rock, Mistah F.A.B...), there is quite a bit of old school country in my heart (Johnny, Hank Sr...), and I enjoy jazz that doesn't get too, "ta tata ta, tata ta" which my lack of jazz knowledge can't even tell you what style that is. But there are artists and or sets in all those genres that get me going.
Heck I remember when I lived in Riverwalk Apartments down at the U, loved a quiet Sunday night in the winder that wasn't brutally cold, would roll back the sunroof of my car, crank up some Handel and drive along the river at speeds that were not too safe. I love music and there is a lot of out there that never regularly hits my rotation but I can find myself occasionally in the mood. Hell an old gf and I used to get busy to the soundtrack from Ghost and I hate that s**t. (The music that is)
Old school country....yeah baby. Not this new crap.
I did take Jazz studies in college, awesome class. Check out Sun Ra. He's out there, but made great music.

Outstanding choice. I think Kind of Blue by Miles and Love Supreme by Coltrane are the two best jazz albums ever made.
