I collect antique and vintage ornaments. My favorite type are called Dresdens, made between 1870 and 1912 out of pressed cardboard. Here’s my tree of Dresdens, along with a closeup of a horse head candy container. He is about 2 1/2 inches long with a silk candy bag in his neck. Look at the detail!! That’s one reason why I love them, the craftsmanship is astonishing.

LOL, I have to confess I didn't even know this was a thing. The store my wife and I both work at has already started the Christmas music over the sound system; however, the version of "Last Christmas" we hear is a (horrible) cover and apparently according to the rules, does NOT eliminate one from the game. We have music from the various Sirius holiday channels at home a lot of the time, so I doubt I'll make it very far anyway. ?

The shed is finally done, fully enclosed with a door and lock. Now, I need to start emptying the garage to make room for more stuff aka junk. Probably wait till spring to run electricity to it. Minnesota Adult and Teen Challenge or any Adult and Teen Challenge throughout the the US and world. My wife and I were at the Minnesota Adult and Teen Challenge Christmas Concert this past Saturday. And it's great seeing people with drug and alcohol addictions coming clean. I've been a huge supporter of Minnesota Adult and Teen Challenge for the past 30 years and always brings a tear to my eye and a smile to my face hearing their stories and testimonies.

When I first worked for Carlson Companies our offices were located in the former warehouse the company used for storing the merchandise that you could acquire by exchanging Gold Bond stamps. I'm sure the cutlery and glassware were nothing but the finest.
Getting to teach 50 plus 8-12 year old boys and girls at church tonight how to start a wilderness fire. Luckily there is a couple other volunteers to help each individual kid start their fire. 50 fires is A LOT for between 6:30-8pm... And most to all these kids are from the suburbs and have little to no wilderness fire training lol!!!

Church parking lot. We'll have Apple Valley FD with a rig there to assist as well. And the kids can check the truck out as well.
