Sleeping in separate beds in a hotel is ideal. At home it’s a game changer. My other half snores, hates white noise and a fan. I’m the opposite. He also has a vastly different work schedule and thus sleep schedule than I. In 2006 after having my head operated on and laying awake for hours due to pain and being doubly unable to sleep due to snoring…..I moved to the guest bedroom. Haven’t looked back. I still don’t sleep well for a myriad of reasons but at least he’s not one of them. ?

So that's what they are calling those 'toys' them now? Mr. Green

None of that would work for my wife. She has to be touching me with her feet most of the night. She would follow me across the Serengeti in her sleep to make sure her feet were touching me. I usually roll over in the night and she follows me right over to the edge. She rarely uses about a 1/3 of the bed on her side. I should have prefaced this by saying we have a queen bed. Our room couldn't fit a king and it would be a waste anyway. When we stay in hotels with a king size she does in fact end up right beside me with 1/2 of the bed not used. Having separate beds wouldn't work either. She can't fall asleep until I'm in bed with her.

Don't need separate blankets because I rarely sleep under them, even in the winter. My wife on the other hand would like to have the entire inventory of Bed, Bath, and Beyond laid upon her to sleep. Yes, she has a weighted blanket. In fact two of them; a 10# that is in the bedroom and a #15 out in the living room. I shit you not that she has about 30lbs. on her in the night in blankets.

I sleep in an old boxcar behind the house. Got it for the granddaughters but they prefer the house.

That's quite a Thursday.

Looking at the schedule, I totally forgot Cleveland changed to the Guardians. Weird to see.

Hopefully Opening Day will be on Friday...

More importantly, where are we at with the maroon/gold outfit rotation? How do you ensure a win on Thursday? And Saturday?!

Lol, I can’t stand anyone touching me when I sleep! Broke up with a guy because he was a “cuddle sleeper”, I HATED it. Got off me.

Finding out the greatest bar is literally behind our hotel!

Edit: and right next our hotel is Porters bar and grill. I can assure you we’ll visit, and have one (or more) to celebrate our dog Porter, who we lost on super bowl Sunday. ? ❤️

IF MN plays Saturday, I will not be online, I will not be listening to the radio. I will be at LTD, breaking the home-streak of games I've listened to. I know, I know, I'm tempting, if not taunting the hockey gods, but...

Not necessarily a simple pleasure, more of a wow, this is strange but interesting type of thing.

First time working in the office since March, 2020.

It’s been almost a year since my wife and I bought a house in the burbs and I got out of the apt caretaking adventures. I caretaked for over 20 years and I don’t miss it. The stories are funny and shocking, but I’m happy I no longer have to relive it!!!

MN has played for one official title this year. And I was at home listening. They lost. Maybe that's a sign I need to WATCH the game. That's the ticket. That's my story.

Winding down after a long day with a cup of chamomile tea and a pistachio canoli before bed.

Edit: Checking YouTube and seeing the GPL podcast OT still going is a big bonus, too.

Talked to my Dad today. My folks live in Florida in the winter so I talk to him when I am driving for work. He tells me this morning my Mom has been counting how many beers he has each day and tracking it this winter (she has been doing this unofficially for years). He said he is now counting how many cookies she eats each day and marking the packages with little marks with a Sharpie. I almost drove off the road from laughing!

Does your mom know he does this? Because if it was me I’d just scribble Sharpie over the entire package!
