Hardest regional imo. That 5v12 matchup feels like a 8/9. Whoever faces Denver in the second round (assuming it will be Denver) will be a very good game.
Western/BU will be THE game of the 1st round. Right up there with Cloud/Kato.
I think this is the real "region of death". I have no idea who will win, but I will take BU.
Denver over BU for the Regional Championship.

I agree that it is the Region Of Doom. I have Western and Denver in the final with Western winning. Although they are the two teams in this region that didn't play last week. Not sure how much that would matter.

Plenty of good seats still available for the BU game. Most sections have just a smattering of fans. BU is 1 he 15 min from Manchester NH.

Western made a couple of pushes early but hit a pipe and had goal overturned. It's been all BU since then.
BU is skating around Western defenders with regularity. If the Broncos don't score early in the period, this one is over. They have to score three just to tie, while holding off BU. Nothing I've seen so far makes me believe it.
BU has a 5 on 3 currently.

the repeated retaliation cross check by the WMU player was a really knucklehead move, with his team down by 4-1 in early 3rd, and essentially ended any chance by WMU. Undisciplined.
BU played a really good game. THe broke that bracket for me, but they looked really good. Good front lines but the defense was not the greatest I have seen this year. Lots of odd man rushes that WMU couldn't take advantage of.

Denver ends their season getting shut out in back to back games by Colorado College and Cornell. I bet the people on Pioneer Puck Live are going absolutely crazy right now. ?
wow. can't say i saw that one coming. The BU-WMU game was an interesting one. Hard to know how that one goes if the 1st goal that was waved off stands, but BU looked solid. Will be a tough out.
