GPL is working with Dinkytown Athletes (DTA) to help support the Gopher Hockey players for NIL they are representing! You will see ads for this all over the site. Even those of you that are "Golden" will see these "ads".
The audience here is the EXACT crowd that DTA wants to reach with this campaign for hockey, so I thought it was a great opportunity to support them.
GPL is receiving zero money for this campaign. Instead they will make their athletes available to us for the GPL Podcast. Right now we are working to get Justen Close on the podcast sometime in June when he gets back from visiting his home in Canada. Not sure if it will be a live podcast, those details will need to be worked out.

There is tracking in the link to let them know where you came from. Not sure if they track all the way through to completion though.

Sign up is very simple. Credit Card was charged within a minute or so. I also have no idea how they’re tracking initial intake other than clicking from GPL link.

Maybe they can't... But that is fine. We send people there and they will get us players for the podcast. So it's all good.

I perused the site and am still a little unclear about where the money goes. I get if you are paying a specific athlete for an appearance or something, but if you are donating to “mens hockey” - who gets the money? Is it split evenly between everyone on the team, or just the ones signed with the dinkytown athletes for NIL oppprtunites? Do they just get cold hard cash, or do they have to do something to earn it?
Looking under the section to find athletes on DTA, there isn’t even a tab for men’s hockey, so I presume there aren’t any players yet represented by them.

I would be fine with the Gopher Hockey Chexx Hockey... Gophers Home vs. Gophers Away in the Player's Lounge. Seen it, got a couple pictures, but was told don't touch it... lol!!!

DTA website won't load for me this morning. Anyone else having that issue?
I've tried multiple browsers on both my computer and my phone and all I get is a blank white web page on all of them.
Ok...now it finally seems to be working. Servers must have been flooded by all the GPL users donating money. Signed up and picked hockey!

The call from MN United was kind of funny actually. It went to voice mail and the guy was reading his script so fast I could barely understand what he was saying. He must have had a lot of calls to make.
