really weird game. Oilers absolutely dominated at times but Bob stood on his head. would envision the Panthers are going to have to change up their neutral zone game as you can't give away that many breakaways and if they keep putting Edmonton on the PP, they will kill you at some point.
The announcers keep talking about Edmonton having "depth", but honestly there's really not much that "scares" you about their lines after McDavid and Draisaitl (plus whoever skates with them). going to be really tough for that top grouping to try play 25+ minutes against the hitting from the Panthers over a long series

Edmonton is trying to play like Florida and they were never going to win a series that way when Florida has better defense and goaltending. Florida adjusted and took away the rush chances by playing their d back and let Edmonton fuck it up. Their only chance is to try play open. You’re not going to win a series of 2-1 games versus Florida like they did previously. There’s too much depth scoring for how bad Edmonton’s d are

This is the Panthers year, they ‘re primed for hoisting the Cup. To hold Oilers O’fer on power play throughout 3 games is uncanny. In addition Panthers are big, fast, skilled & play with an edge like a collection on prison inmates.
