That was a great comeback by Toronto and Knies was a huge part of it by saving that sure goal. Game could’ve easily gotten away from them even further than it did and made a comeback impossible.

Seems like they are finally calling penalties in OT. For years the refs would just swallow the whistles unless a real scoring chance was taken away. Looks like they are calling it straight up, which IMO is how it should be.

I doubt Makar gets anything at all if the Seattle player doesn't get injured.
It seems like the NHL puts more emphasis on the penalty depending on the evidence of injury, not on the infraction itself and what might have happened.
Which is, of course, the problem. I think 5 games should be the minimum suspension in the NHL. I wasn’t referencing the misplayed puck specifically, I just think he’s their weakness. Even tho with their offense they’re good enough to win the cup, they’ll still have games where the goalie needs to carry them and I don’t think he can.
