I watched the condensed game but honestly MTL was bad in their own zone and goaltending wasn't great. Also he wasn't the only guy on the ice who struggled for them.

I feel like Montreal was an alright squad that had the bounces start going their way at the right time last season. The way the divisions were aligned didn't hurt, either.

I watched the condensed game but honestly MTL was bad in their own zone and goaltending wasn't great. Also he wasn't the only guy on the ice who struggled for them.
They definitely caught lightening in a bottle last year and miss Cary Price (so far) this year.

Yeah the Habs kind of got a few rounds further than they should’ve in the playoffs last year (the jets weren’t good but the leafs were a better team even if they’re cursed and it’s funny).
Leafs cause a lot of their own problems at times, but losing Tavares just killed them. It shouldn’t have been that devastating because they have a lot of other offensive weapons, but it did.

For me, calling Caulfield the "little guy" has been a bit for a while. No doubt he is a NHL player and will score a ton of goals in his career. I just like to poke a few people that think the "little guy" is God and when he stumbles a bit I like to rile up his fans. The way the Gophers are playing, I need some joy in my life.

Colorado starter Kuemper injured in warmups. Av's had to dress the arena fill in goalie as their backup tonight. The Av's goalie tonight has already given up 8, but he will take one for the team. They flew a goalie in from the minors and he arrived mid game.

For the 2nd straight night, an NHL team will have a beer league goalie as their backup goalie. St Louis had a goalie test positive with covid and they don't have enough cap space to replace him. (which is a dumb rule and a safety issue if you ask me)

I watched this game, as it was Wheeler's 1k game. It got really ugly. Pionk also got suspended 2 games for kneeing that started this. There were fights all the way to the end of the game. Pionk is currently in the concussion protocol.
