Welp, I can think of two players who are happy they left the Ofer Stanley Cup state of Minnesota. I still can't wrap my head around Kuemper on the Cup, but then again they hardly needed him tonight.

True.. but Corey Perry won a Stanley Cup early in his career playing for Anaheim…so these last 3 years, while ending bittersweet…have still been one hell of a ride for him! ?

It was 16 not 6, so Aube-Kubel instead of EJ. Also looks like it was just the black base, not the ring. Wouldn't be surprised if it is a little out of round though.

Congrats to EJ and the rest of the Avs, the way they shut down Tampa in the third was impressive. Jack Johnson winning a cup is pretty funny, his game leaves a lot to be desired but anyone who knows his story knows he’s dealt with his share of drama behind the scenes and so it’s hard not to be happy for him. I got nothing against Tampa and cheered for them in the last two but good to see a different team win it.

Avs HC (Jared Bednar) has now won titles in the ECHL, AHL & NHL. And although he played for 3 AHL teams during his career, he never played a game in the NHL...

Kucherov didn’t quite seem the same after he got hurt earlier in the series.
It’s a Damn shame Ben Meyers couldn’t play in the postseason. Would have been a hell of a ride for him with the Avs.

Still amazes me who all gets in the Cup outside of players. Each team can put up to 52 names in the Cup. Players, coaches, management and staff. So, I would guess 30ish players... then you have 6ish coaches, 7ish executive staff, 3ish equipment staff, 5 misc. staff (medical/strength/conditioning).

Don’t understand why you would trade DeBrincat. If you’re rebuilding he should be part of your core, he’s 24. Trade Kane for younger players if you want to rebuild, he’s 9 years older.

NHL draft is a snooze fest compared to the NFL draft. Starts at 6, the 2nd pick was made at 6:35. Do we need 10 people from every team dragged up on stage before their pick? NFL draft is a party, this is dragging.
