I’m surprised this game hasn’t been moved to Phoenix. With what’s all going on in LA and it’s not getting better. For the NFL to use emergency personnel for the game, when they probably should be doing other things. Congregating masses of people to LA… hotels, restaurants and more. Why the NFL is stubborn to keep this game in LA. You would even think the Rams organization would push for a move. Or even the players union.

Keep your stick on the ice...

I heard on the NFL channel the decision to move the game might not be made until Saturday

Vikings opened -2.5 on Sunday night, by Monday morning Vikings were -1.5. Stayed at -1.5 ( for a brief moment -1) until today with the game change it jumped back to -2.5 and I expect it to climb.

In a situation like this, there is no perfect solution. Allowing the Rams STH to get a chance to purchase tix to the game in AZ seems fair. I'm not sure how many non STH bought tickets to the game in LA, so unfortunately those people will have to go through the buying process over again I'm sure. There probably wasn't enough time to track down all of the non season ticket buyers as well. Not sure about those who bought tix through a 3rd party. They may be SOL.

Why would AZ fans have a crack at tickets before Vikings fans? LA fans at least makes sense. I don't care the game is being played in AZ, their fans have no stake.

I think they just want fans at the game. There will be plenty of seats available come Monday night.

If the NFL didn't sell one ticket, they would still come out ahead.

...Or just seed it like it always should have been, 1 through 8.  Sure, give division winners in a crappy division a playoff spot, but don't REWARD them for being the best worst team by giving them a higher seed, that makes utterly NO sense whatsoever.

They play too many games with seeding.

Hard disagree.  There should be a reward for winning your division and it should be a home game.

Their reward is getting into the playoffs at all.  If there are 7 better teams, they don't even deserve to be in the playoffs, but the consolation is getting in at the expense of better teams for the sake of parity and the hope that "EVEN YOU CAN GET IN, NEW YORK JETS!"

The reward of getting into the playoffs is enough.

The #2 team in the conference shouldn't have to play on the road for the entirety of the playoffs unless the worst teams win their games, it's all backwards.

The theory is, what if that 10-7 team is actually better then a 14-3 team, because the division as a whole is good. Usually, doesn't work out that way, but that is the line of thinking.

For example: BUF is 14-3, but they play in a very crappy division, and Vikings are 14-3 in a very good division.

When you tell somebody somethin', it depends on what part of the United States you're standin' in... as to just how dumb you are.

Yeah, makes sense.  You might as well also give the second place team of the 10-7 conference a playoff spot and a home playoff game too!

The Steelers ended the season on a 5 game losing streak (two of the losses were to Baltimore).

With 4 weeks left in the regular season they were 10-3, two games ahead of Baltimore and had a win over Baltimore. They ended up losing the division by two games.

Baltimore has won 5 games in a row.

Balt is the scariest team right now, in the NFL.  You know my biases, and I'm still saying that.

I agree, I like watching their games, Derrick Henry still just hurts people in his way, to have that weapon in their offense now might be what they needed to get it done. I’m still baffled with Lamar and designed runs with him it makes no sense to me when you have Henry to punish a defense on the ground and risk injury to your mvp qb up by 2 touchdowns at home in the first half? Their defense isn’t as dominant but they look so good. I’d like to see them win it.

Baltimore looked great, but the Steelers reminded me of Homer wanting to go to Duff Gardens; they were totally out of gas. Assuming the Bills win today (PLEASE? Like the Bills anyway, but especially when it means staking Sean Payton), next week vs Baltimore would be terrific.

I was hoping the Vikings would draw Tampa Bay in the first round; I'll be interested to see how Washington does there.

Lions, eagles, bucs need to lose for Vikings to host down the road but that means rooting for Greenbay today which I never want.

Think it depends on if flowers is healthy. They can’t kill you over the top with this team right now. The Steelers are just not that good but why they didn’t play 8 at the LOS to start the game is beyond me

Dream first drive for Denver. Bo Nix has really surprised me this year but I guess it makes sense as he should be far nearer to the start of his prime than other rookies given he came in older

Josh Allen had to throw that last ball through the end zone 90mph.

Stripes miss an obvious PI on Denver, followed by not calling a PI on Buffalo on a good defensive play.

Josh Allen throws an absolute hospital pass there. Looked like Davis was moving his arms and legs but that’s a rough hit and tough for the defender who’s closing on the ball in a bang bang play

That could have been worse. Defender turned quite a bit late to try and avoid helmet-to-helmet contact, and largely manages to.

Looks like Johnson just massively bailed them out with this catch if that TD stands. Amazing job on a really weird play call on 4th and 1 when Allen is your qb

That wasn't a TD. touched out of bounds before he controlled the ball

NFL receivers' footwork is just amazing. To get 2 feet in along the sideline or back of the endzone. Sometimes it's just luck, but vast majority of the time it's skill.

i also thought his left foot scraped and then went back up before control (so would be at least illegal touching) but guess I can see why it stood.

Good god the nfl needs to do something about how players tackle. This guy just completely fucked himself leading with his head right into a runner going full speed.

getting a debilitating injury like the nfl won’t just spit you out seems like a really solid move. At least that’s how it would seem with how many guys tackle

I couldn’t help but chuckle when Nantz said “Another Bills player hit in the head.”

Allen took multiple hits on that last drive and even that last handoff if bonitto falls into his legs, that’s how you can completely derail any chance you have in a game you’re up 3 scores
