Two flops lead to PPs for the Knights. In between the two I counted two holds and a hook let go.

Back to back 5-2 wins by the WILD!!!

Two power play goals, 4 for 4 on the penalty kill, a 4th line goal, Rossi with a goal and an assist.

Kaprizov & Boldy 13 points (8 goals, 5 assists) in three games

That short handed goal allowed sucked when Wild barely missed several times to apply the Dagger! 🗡️

But hung in well last 8 minutes! 👍

Dunno if it's too early in the playoffs to say that was a statement game, but if there is such a thing it sure felt like it.

Yeah, if you told me they would give up two bad goals tonight and take two penalties in the final 7 minutes of the game, I'd chalk it up as a loss.

The team could barely eke out 3 goals a game this season but I guess this is what they look like when they're healthy.

I dont know how they're doing it, but I like it.

Those guys have elevated their game but some other guys have, too.

I thought Hartman and Foligno had a good game and so did Buium. Solid win for the team despite a couple of clinker goals.

When the Wild were healthy the first two months of the season they had the best record in the NHL.

This team is VERY dangerous when healthy.

In the Vegas game one win 4-2 (an empty netter with 0.1 seconds left) each team scored an even strength goal in both the 1st and 3rd periods the difference was a power play goal by Vegas in the 2nd period that was set up by a missed Vegas penalty off the faceoff. With Gaudreau laying on the ice (due to the missed call) Vegas essentially had a 5 on 3 advantage to credit a wide open goal.

I appreciate your rose colored glasses, but the wild have lost every game in terms of xg and scoring chances (they were UGLY tonight 5v5 but we are good on the pp and kill). Vegas is a better team than we are, but we’ve had the better goalie and finished our chances far better. Is the joy of playoff hockey and having a goalie who’s been head and shoulders better than the other guy. You capitalize, especially early, and it can totally change a game. We’ve done that the last 2 games

hey the oilers weren’t the wests best team last year and ran it all the way to game 7 of the cup finals. How many presidents trophy teams have lost first round? Nothing wrong with acknowledging every gm would take what Vegas has this year over the Wild but KK/Boldy/Ek are dominant right now and the guys are capitalizing with the rest of the team blocking shots and doing the gritty things to win. What makes hockey so special and the cup such an achievement is you have to get it done when it matters, even if you’re the most talented team you can still lose

So FUN to see the Wild  absolutely come alive from the frustrating, injured team we watched for most of the season. KK & Erik Ek, both missing the past 2 months, then returning, look fresh & energized. Boldy is an emerging STAR, and you can argue he & KK have been equally off the charts so far! Faber looked like 4Nations level Brock in game 3 & Brodin has been really good in all 3 games. And Zeev has added that element on pp, where they are firing passes to each other on the tape with a newly discovered swagger.

And the Gus Bus has been rolling, making timely saves!

got real worried when he gave up the ugly low pad goal that he was going to have an off night but he was dynamite from there on out.

Boldy has really impressed he as well. He's been an absolute dog on pucks in both ends. His goal last night completely turned the tide on a play he just kicked Hanifin's ass.

Boldy is deceptively long and with his hands, quickness & speed he's proving to be the real deal.  Once a playoff intensity is sprinkled in it's why he wins a lot of battles.

Boldy, Ek, and KK are the talent up front, but i tip my hat to the coaches for sewing a silk purse out of a sow's ear for the rest of the line up. They are playing the style of game they must to give themselves  a chance.

Hertl has been Vegas' best forward because these lunch pail guys have neutered Stone and Eichel.

Seems like for the first time in a lot of first round series’ for them the big names are coming out instead of going silent when needed the most, loving that for a change!😁

My favorite is the TNT studio dumping on the Wild all the time, then eating their shoes...  Although I do think they are pretty entertaining.

I watched the Vegas feed for 1 period and 1 intermission. I don't think I heard them say 1 positive thing about the Wild.

Ginormous game for the Wild today (same with the Wolves tomorrow). Chance to go up 3-1 and put their boot (or skate as it were) on Vegas' throat. Absolutely don't want to let them get back in the series and regain home ice advantage. The "X" should be crazy.

Vegas benefits from a high sticking call but leading up to it was an obvious cross check from behind on a Wild player that went uncalled.

high sticks hard to ignore but as long as they don’t call it against us I’m fine with letting the cross checks go. We won’t want to consistently play pp heavy games with Vegas

So hitting a guy in the face with your stick is a penalty? Makes sense.

Then why is it not a penalty when Vegas cross checks Hartman twice in the face? Neither time it was called.

Subban tries to be like BIZ, but fails miserably. Messier is stiff with his presentation & his stories aren’t nearly as interesting as Gretzky stories. Levy isn’t as effective as host as the TNT Liam M. Adds up to TNT being significantly better.

So brave and bold being faceless on a msg. board.

Truth hurts huh?

Not one bit… it’s a msg, where people try to be bold and and brave when they can be faceless.

Rossi had 60 points (24 goals and 36 assists) in the regular season and now has 2 goals and 1 assist in just over three playoff games.

He has been playing on the 4th line this series. The Wild scoring depth is unstoppable. 😉 😀

This game has the "we can't let Vegas go down 1-3" look to it.

Refs are letting them assault the Wild.

Man they aren't calling anything on Vegas they are allowing both checking from behind into the boards and cross checking from behind.

This could result in more injuries. Johansson is out (his replacement took the penalty that resulted in the Vegas goal).

They ignore the CFB against KK then have to call the technical foul against Wild for too many men. CALL THE F'N RULEBOOK
