I would bet that Boeser is available for pretty much nothing as long as you're willing to take his entire contract in the deal
I'm 50% factual and 50% sarcastic. When you get to know me, you will know which is which.
Good for him. I’m not convinced he’ll be a regular NHLer yet, but the jump in competition seems to have woken something up in him. He even had a Gordie Howe hat trick in the last week or so I believe.
Walker gets his 1st NHL point with an assist on Gaudreau's goal. 2-1 Wild

Now they took Walker's assist away.

Sounds like it was never given. The X announced it, but the official scoring never showed it.
Edit: Never mind. Looks like it has actually been awarded and taken away a couple times now.
Gaudreau said it’s a treat to play with Walker and that he has been impressed by his confidence and poise. And Boldy, who had struggled in recent games and has sure missed last year’s linemate, Kevin Fiala, looked jolted for the second game in a row on the opposite wing from the talented Walker.
“He’s been fitting in awesome,” Boldy said of the Edina native. “I think tonight he had a lot more confidence in his own game, just being a little bit more poised with the puck and making more plays, and I think it’s only going to get better. He’s super smart. He knows how to get into certain spots to make easy plays, too.”
Walker said it was stunning at times to look across from him and see McDavid and Draisaitl on the same sheet of ice.
“I’m like, ‘Should I get off?’” Walker said, smiling. “Yeah … it’s crazy.”
Good thing he didn’t get off the ice because, again, it was Walker’s play along the boards that led to Gaudreau’s winning goal — whether Walker got the milestone first point or not.☝️ Correct thread? ?
What exactly do you think you are proving?
(The answer btw is nothing)
Well... they might THINK they're proving something, but you're certainly correct on what IS being proved. What exactly do you think you are proving?

B1G refs... corrupt, or just incompetent?
@handyman I’m glad Sammy is doing well, he’s a Edina kid, a state of MN kid…I happen to cut paste something about his debut to the Badgers vs Gophers thread & some posters react to that….like I committed a FEDERAL CRIME..using the wrong thread…lol. The Gophers didn’t need him preamble…was clearly a JOKE…Sammy had ZERO intention of NOT signing a pro deal after 4 years and 3 years as Captain.
Ok fine
These last few posts could have been done in PM...this is why the internet soap box sucks sometimes.

Come on Wild teammates get open which shouldn't be that difficult with three Oilers trying to stop Sammy.

Reaves is a BEAST…OUR Beast ? ☝️
He’ll be getting a call for that one I’d bet.
I don’t think Reaves much cares for Detroilet.

Red Wings Twittersphere is a hilarious read right now.
It looks like Detroit has a 7’ forward out on the ice.

I looked him up, Elmer Soderblom. A 6'8" rookie from Sweden.

He’ll be getting a call for that one I’d bet.
Nope. No discipline or hearing. After seeing the replay a few more times, I’m inclined to agree.
Live, I thought he was going to be getting a call. Once I saw the replay several times, I'm with you. At most that was incidental contact to the head. He’ll be getting a call for that one I’d bet.

The fine line of head hunting and being taller than the other guy.

So tonight’s game once again on ESPN+ or Hulu, OUTRAGEOUS
Aloha!
As bad as my perception of their season has been, upon checking they're 5th in the West for P%, as of now are in the playoffs (not even as a wild card) and are 8-2 their last 10.
Kaprisov with points 199 and 200 in his 167th game. Still 15 minutes left in the second period.
201 now. Beautiful feed to Spurgeon.

Who are these guys?
Who are these guys?
Give them credit for winning the games that they should, but they haven't played a decent team in about a month
Unfortunately true. Last one was the Stars on the 4th. Wild won, but made it real interesting in the process. Before that there was a stretch of Pittsburgh, Carolina, Winnipeg, and Toronto all at home, where they managed to go 2-2.
Still, obviously better to win these games than lose them. ?
13 straight vs. the Ducks. It's the longest active winning streak vs. an opponent in the NHL. They also have 7 games active winning streaks vs. both Chicago and Vancouver. The record for the longest winning streak vs. one opponent is 23... Montreal over Washington.

This got me to thinking about the other sports.
NFL: Miami beat Buffalo 20 straight times back in the ‘70s.
MLB: The Orioles beat the Royals 23 straight also in the ‘70s.
NBA: Our own Wolves lost 27 straight to the Seattle SuperSonics from 1991-1997
It feels like the Twins have lost to the Yankmees 50 straight. (yes for the anal-retentive challenged I'm aware that's not the case)

Although if you look strictly at playoffs, it feels like the Yankees are the Globetrotters and the Twins are the Washington Generals.
Now forgive me for derailing the thread.
On cue, they’re complete garbage tonight.

Aren’t you a big Karlsson fan? 😉
Five minute pks are hard. And we got screwed with the sharks not getting an extra penalty or two for retaliating against Dumba after a clean hit.
geez. Going in the box again as I type.

I was just giving you crap. Cause you aren’t seeing enough on tv?
I watched the 5x3 in the first and they were were completely disinterested in allowing the puck to sniff the crease.

Sammy Walker with his first NHL goal! Empty netter.

If he plays himself into a regular role, someone may have to order one of his jerseys. But, we all know that would be the kiss of death for his Wild career. ?

I know there are many fans that wish for Cowgirl to buy a Dumba sweater.
Dumba has been their best defenseman this year.
