Reaves has the iq of a 3-day old salad bar and brings nothing to the team. Only the fans who are overserved will cheer when Reaves tries to show his toughness and punches someone.

So it’s OK to pick up Nicolas Deslauriers at the trade deadline last year but not OK to pick up Ryan Reaves when they’re essentially the same player? Dookay

I think I missed the part where @gator said anything about Deslauriers

Thinking that Reaves and Deslauriers are the same player is certainly a take.
Deslauriers was added to a team that had it's top 9 set and needed a 4th line speed and energy guy that could help a terrible penalty kill.
Reaves is a plug in every way who can't skate, being added to a roster that already has a handful of players that aren't NHL caliber.

Deslauriers added energy & he’d fight when necessary but I don’t recall him adding much to the PK. Agree we have a handful of AHL players, plus Dumba hasn’t performed the way you’d expect a player in a contract year to perform…but at least Foligno won’t need to fight much & anybody who cheap shots KK will be hunted.

Dumba looks bad because Brodin has been even worse. Dumba just isn't good enough to be a teams #1 defenseman.
Foligno is currently one of the players that doesn't belong in the NHL. And he's been trending that way since last February.
Teams will continue to go after Kaprizov because nobody in the NHL holds anyone accountable anymore. The only positive about adding a guy like Reaves is he can take runs for the Wild instead of against them. Although for that to work, you have to actually let him on the ice.
One of Dumba’s strengths is his one time slap shot…so why they don’t even have him playing on the 2nd PP unit is beyond me.. although the 1st unit usually stays out for most of the 2 minutes, but still. Maybe Dean simply doesn’t like Dumba…and agree Brodin is off to a putrid start compared to prior years…
MAF with a couple of huge saves at the end of the first. Wow!

when the bucs/browns game finally got over I asked the bartender to put the hockey game on. He said looks like you guys have it in hand, (it was 4-1). Of course I said it’s MN, don’t count yourselves out. A couple minutes later it’s 4-3. ?♀️ But what a great weekend. We watched the Vikes win, Gopher football win, a win +33% of the Gopher Hockey weekend, and 2 out of three for the Wild while we were here. Can I rewind to Tuesday somehow and do it all again?!
SUCKED this was a game where Wild fans are being leveraged to subscribe to ESPN+ for those of us still paying for cable. Wild have owned the Oilers in recent years.
Spurgeon gets burned on an aggressive decision then makes a remarkable back checking effort and play to sweep the puck away on a breakaway. Hell of a recovery.

Let a super winnable game get by there. The Flames are not good.
The Flames' 4th goal was nothing more than a complete mental breakdown by everyone on the ice wearing a white jersey. Zero composure after the tying the goal. They came out that shift and got worked in their own end.
Just embarrassing tonight...blow a two goal lead by giving up three goals in 3 minutes and then after tying it they give up the game winner on the NEXT SHIFT!
Dead serious, this team wouldn't even be watchable without Dollar Bill.
Agreed. Guessing people aren't aware Boeser has been a healthy scratch recently.
Correct. I had no idea. I was commenting purely off of emotion and without any research or logic. This is why I’m not a GM. Well, that and many other reasons.
