Unfortunately I don't think the Vikings will score against that defense if we barely scored against the Bears
Pretty cool Vikings image…
Keep your stick on the ice...
Name the QB Tommy Kramer beat in the famous comeback beating the 49ers 28-27 at the Met? It was so cold at that game I was sitting up on the 3rd deck behind home plate
Aloha!
Plunkett.
Addison lets a SF corner take the ball away from him on the first drive, but the Vikings force a CMC fumble a few plays later and march down the field and Addison catches his 5th TD of the year. First TD the Vikings have scored in the first quarter this season.
Flips up to espn2 to see what the forehead boys are saying.

I’m 40 and I swear Nix was playing when I was still in college.
He’s definitely used all the red shirts and Covid years. For a few people I think.
Something crawled up Akers' and Hawk's ass tonight. Wow.
When you tell somebody somethin', it depends on what part of the United States you're standin' in... as to just how dumb you are.
I was given a free ticket to the Medtronic Club for the game. Man does that not suck. Makes the Gopher club feel like a Motel 6 with a burnt out light.
Also, Floyd is here at the game. Woo!
Vikings just got insanely lucky. SF was lined up with 2:05 left on the clock and the Vikings only had 8 guys on the field but Purdy let the clock run down and hit the 2 minute warning.
SF gets a goalline TD from CMC. Vikings have 1:01 left and 1 timeout to try to extend the lead.
Announcers: well we know what Philly would do here (referring to the Tush Push)
SF: FU, we have CMC

ADDISON!!!!!
Addison playing some great D get the TD!

Addison just returned the favor from the first drive on Ward, ripping the ball out of his hands and taking it to the house!
WOW.

What goes around comes around.
I hate missed PATs though.
Are people still mad Vikings GM Kwesi Adofo-Mensah drafted Jordan Allison in the first round? In 6 and half games as a rookie he has
26 receptions
372 yards
6 TDs
Let’s go! Addison is a stud.

If he didn't stop running his corner route on the drive they kicked a FG on in the first half he'd have 3 today and 7 on the year.
Second time we've had the ball on the 1 yard line and settled for a FG.
KOC tries the butt shove QB sneak and it fails. Then tries it again and we get a false start. SMH
Just run a freaking play.
It is a win-win for the Vikings when the league takes that play away.
The Vikings version of the tush push is no bueno but I think Warner was actually across the line in the air on that first one.
Cousins is dealin’ this could be interesting.
Ruh row.
I remember this movie.

There’s what I was expecting more often tonight.
3 plays 75 yards and SF brings the score to 19-14 with 5:54 left in the 3rd quarter
SF doesn't need a gun, or a Donk. They have a CMC (Crocodile Dundee reference)

No idea how the umpire running in there lets that happen right in front of him without throwing a flag but I bet he gets a fine on Wednesday.
I like the Manning cast, but it would have been nice if they didn’t just have a string of Niners fans on.
This is unreal.

This is surreal, usually SF dominates us physically

OL has been mostly fantastic this game and our DL has been great. Bullard and Lowry have been great in the middle of the line.
MN getting some home-town calls, that's for sure. That being said, MN is def outplaying SF.

San Francisco had trailed for a total of less than 11 minutes all season.
They have been trailing for 44 minutes+ so far tonight.

Hometown calls like what?
Purdy hits the open man unfortunately for him Bynum wears purple.
The Niners can't cover Addison. He has 110 yards and the Niners have also taken multiple penalties holding/interfering with him.
One of those PI calls was basic NFL play, it was soft. Not having grounding called on Kirk when he spiked it. Things like that.MN getting some home-town calls, that's for sure. That being said, MN is def outplaying SF.

That route he ran that drew the illegal contact on this drive was perfect. He hits the out and turns his head like he's expecting a pass which draws Ward up (IIRC it was Leber who pointed this out, a lot of young WRs don't turn their head on a double move like that so CBs don't bite on it) and then turns up field and Ward has to hit him or it's an easy touchdown.

He spiked it at the feet of CJ Ham. Now, I agree that plays like that SHOULD be called intentional grounding because they are literally intentionally grounding it, but the rule says if there is a receiver in the area it's fine. And CJ Ham is an eligible receiver.

It wasn't near the area of a receiver. I know the rule, they got away with one. And I'm a Kirk Bobo (c) KFAN

Not having Samuel is def hurting SF, Flores has schemed this well. This might be Cousins best game as a Viking. He’s had some good ones but this defense is no joke.

I mean, he intentionally grounded it BECAUSE Ham was right there, not a penalty. Complain all you want.

If we're talking about the same play, go back and watch it. It was like 3 yards from CJ Ham (Cousins spiked it to the left side of the formation). Again, IMO that should be called intentional grounding because it's literally the QB's intent to ground the ball. But the rule is what it is.
If it's one I missed then I missed it.
Not complaining. Just telling it how it is.
